The Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA) is a professional institution focusing on logistics and supply chain management, which was established in 1996. The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is the professional body for those engaged in logistics, transport and physical distribution - covering all sectors of the industry; namely, land, sea, air and logistics, for both passengers and freight transportation. It was formed in United Kingdom in 1919 as the Institute of Transport and granted a Royal Charter in 1926. It was renamed as the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) in 2000. The Singapore Group was formed in 1971. This Group was converted into a Section in 1986 and to National Council in 1991.

Thai National Shippers’ Council (TNSC), represents exporters in Thailand since 1994, our main objectives are to promote and protect the interests of shippers and to work with the public and private sector, local and international, to enhance competitiveness of exporters in Thailand. The Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS) is the only professional, non-profit organisation representing pharmacists in Singapore. Hongkong Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Limited (HAFFA) is a non-profit making organization which promotes, protects and develops the carriage of goods (by different modes of transport), and the businesses of cargo forwarding agents, cargo forwarders and logistics service providers in particular. Representing many sectors of the freight logistics industry, HAFFA membership consists of both local and international companies of all sizes. Now with over 340 corporate members, which handle a significant percentage of air freight, sea freight and contract logistics in Hong Kong, HAFFA acts as an authoritative voice for the industry. HAFFA is involved with coordinating, lobbying and liaising with the Government of the Hong Kong SAR as well as other industry authorities and local operators.
