Boris Maikhailovich Abramovich was born in Krasnoyarsk in 1960. In 1983 he graduated from Riga Civil Aviation Institute.
He held a post of Shift Engineer of the “Severnyi” Airport in Krasnoyarsk, Head of Shift of the “Severnyi” Airport, Head of workshop №2 of the “Severnyi” Airport.
In 1986 he took the post of Chief Engineer of the aviation plant (plant №67). From 1988 till 1989 he worked as the Head of the Aircraft Maintenance Base of the “Cheremshanka” Airport.
From 1989 till 1990 he worked as Deputy Head of the Aircraft Operation Administration and Chief Engineer in the Civil Aviation Authority.
In 1995 his brother Alexander and he created Sibaviatrans airline and he was the Director.
In June 1998 he was appointed to the post of General Director of Krasnoyarsk Airlines.
Having become the leader of unprofitable airline which suffered severe crises at that time, Boris Abramovich took decisive actions to optimize expenses. It was he who developed a long term development strategy which enabled the airline to become the airline of federal importance and one of the leading air carriers of Russia.
In 1998, it was decided to enlarge the flight geography and to maintain airworthiness of the aircraft operated, and today Boris Abramovich is the initiator of perspective projects and he is the member of the public council on implementation of the governmental “Russian Civil Aviation Development Concept”.
In 2001, a system of rationally connected flights ASTRA – unique strategy of the route network development, was created on his initiative for the first time in Russia. Implementation of the ASTRA project allowed to achieve a record rate of traffic growth of Russian carriers.
Boris Abramovich is the ideologist of establishment of the aviation alliance AiRUnion unprecedented for Russia, which includes KrasAir, Domodedovo Airline, Omskavia, Sibaviatrans, Samara. Creation of such global union of Russian carriers is an important step which will enable to effectively organize air services in Russia and to be a competitive member of the global aviation community.

Daniel Calleja is Director for Air Transport at the European Commission since November 2004. His present responsibilities include the single European aviation market and its external dimension. He has successfully negotiated on behalf of the E.U. the recent EU-US Open Skies Agreement. He is the Chairman of the Air Safety and the Single Sky Committees and represents the Commission in the SESAR Joint Undertaking. He has a large experience at the European Commission where he is working since 1986.
Between 1999 and 2004, he was Head of Cabinet of the Vice-president of European Commission, Mrs. Loyola de Palacio, responsible for Transport, Energy and relations with the European Parliament. During this period, he participated actively in the elaboration of the EU transport policy and specially in the launching of the Transport White Book, the Single European Sky, for creation of the Air Safety Agency and the Galileo program.
Between 1995 and 1999, Mr. Calleja was the Head of Cabinet for the Commissioner Marcelino Oreja, responsible for institutional affairs, and for Amsterdam Treaty negotiations. In 1995, he was the legal adviser in the Cabinet of the President of the European Commission, for Transport, Competition, State Aids and the control of the application of Community Law.
M. Calleja is the author of several publications, he is a lecturer in European Law in several universities and institutes of various Member States.

Bryan Conway is managing director, Europe, Middle East, Africa & Brazil for Travelport GDS. He is responsible for the relationships with all subscriber and supplier customers in the region and has overall responsibility for the performance of EMEA & Brazil and its financial contribution to Travelport GDS. Prior to his current role, Bryan was group vice president, supplier services for the Travelport Business Group in EMEA, responsible for supplier sales, account management and contracting for both the B2B and the B2C channels. Previous roles in Galileo include vice president, airline services EMEA; vice president, country management, EMEA North; and general manager for Galileo Southern Africa, one of Galileo's largest markets. Bryan moved to Johannesburg from Hong Kong; where he had helped establish Galileo's current presence in Asia, building a network of distributors in the region. Previously, he had undertaken a similar task in Europe and then in Latin America. Bryan joined Galileo International in the UK in 1988, a few months after it opened its first head office there.
Bryan graduated from the University of Hull in 1978 with a degree in History. He lives in London with his wife Sheila.

Andrew Cowley was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Airports in October 2006.
Macquarie Airports is now one of the world’s largest strategic airport investors with significant interests in: Sydney, Brussels, Copenhagen and Bristol.
Under Andrew’s leadership, the Macquarie Airports team of 28 airport specialists and investment bankers based in London engage in all aspects of the airport businesses seeking to improve the commercial and financial performance of each airport. Andrew is a Director of Brussels and Copenhagen airports.
Prior to joining Macquarie, Andrew managed the private equity business based in London for Allianz AG, Europe’s largest financial services company with €1.3 trillion under management. Andrew served on the investment committees of various private equity funds managed by Allianz and on the boards of portfolio companies with operations in infrastructure, energy, business services and technology. Before joining Allianz in 2001, Andrew was chairman of Dresdner Bank’s business in Russia, where he lived for seven years, and had ten years experience as an investment banker. Earlier in his career he also worked for The Economist in New York, Hong Kong and Moscow.

Oliver Hughes has headed-up ‘Tinkoff. Credit Systems’, Russia’s first credit card monoliner, since June 2007. Using an innovative branchless, ‘virtual’ model, TCS acquires customers primarily through partnership and cobranding programmes, and is pioneering the use of Direct Marketing in financial services in Russia. Oliver Hughes and the team have already successfully moved the bank from start-up stage to business ‘ramp-up’, and are now engaged in rapid acquisition through-out 2008. The bank recently passed the land-mark of its first billion Rubles in credit outstandings and will soon reach its first 100,000 customers.
Prior to joining the TCS team, Oliver Hughes was Vice President and Head of the Representative Office in Russia of Visa International (CEMEA). He joined Visa April 1998 and moved to Business Development from Payment Systems Operations in 2000. He was one of the original members of the team which established Visa’s office in Moscow in the autumn of 2000, and grew the market from approx. $1bn to almost $100bn annual spend (over 50% market-share) by 2007. He also served as a Director on the Visa Russia Board for 4 years.
Mr. Hughes worked in a number of roles in the public and commercial sectors, including a position as a social science researcher for the Slavonic and East European Division of the British Library. His work on a number of IT projects for Reebok, Shell UK and the British Library paved the way for his transfer into the payments industry. He started his career in Visa as a specialist in authorisation and risk monitoring systems.

With nearly 20 years in the transport and travel industry, David brings a wealth of experience to airlines and the companies that serve them.
He was one of the three original officers at the founding of Virgin Blue, holding executive management positions including Head of Commercial and Head of Strategy & Communication during its period of high growth from its formation in 1999 to 2005. He also led the airline's search for new commercial opportunities in Asia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Prior to his tenure at Virgin Blue, David served as Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing for Virgin Express, the Brussels based European LCC of the Virgin Group. He also has extensive experience in the fuel industry and was a former US licensed travel agent.
Today, David consults for a number of key clients focused on the LCC sector in both emerging and established markets. In 2006, he was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Vueling, a LCC based in Barcelona, Spain.
He holds a BA of International Relations from Brown University in the United States and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Originally from the US state of Colorado, David has lived in eight countries and traveled to over 90 others.

Having more than 25 years of experience in the Airline Industry, Mr Joshi has worked extensively in areas like Ramp Handling, Passenger Handling and Passenger sales, Cargo Handling and Sales. He has served as Station Manager for International Airlines like Royal Jordanian and Air Canada and has also been the Chairman of Airlines Operators Committee, (AOC) IATA for New Delhi Airport.
He has been a part of start-up teams and has to his credit establishing a station set up of Air Canada in 1993 and Kingfisher Airlines from 2005 where he is presently working in the Senior Management team as The General Manager his responsibility includes Airport services ,Ground Support Services & Airport Infrastructure.

Law graduate of the University of Oslo, graduate of the Air Force pilot academy and officer training school. Kjos was a fighter pilot in the 334 squadron for six years. Kjos has 20 years experience of legal practice, and was granted right of audience in the Supreme Court in 1993. He is a partner in the legal practice Vogt & Wiig, but has been on leave of absence since 1 October 2002. Kjos was involved in establishing Norwegian in 1993, and was the Chairman of the Board from 1993 until 1996. Kjos was also Chairman for the period of the start of the low-cost operation June-September 2002. Bjorn Kjos has been CEO of Norwegian since October 2002. In September 2006 Bjorn Kjos published his first book “Murmanskaffaeren”.

Sergey Kravchenko was named President of Boeing Russia in August 2002.
He is responsible for leading all Boeing business activities in Russia and CIS countries, and directing a country team comprised of business unit leaders from each sector of the company.
Prior to this appointment, Kravchenko was the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) vice president of Cooperative Programs and Business Development for Russia/CIS. In this role, he coordinated and directed BCA strategy development, industry participation, technology design, commercial aviation services and new business development programs. He also provided direct sales support of commercial airplanes to Russia/CIS.
Kravchenko also served as the director of international engineering cooperation programs in Russia. He managed the Boeing Technology and Design Centers in Moscow, which now consists of over 2000 engineers and scientists working for Boeing under contracts at different sites in the Russian Federation and CIS. The centers participate in design programs for the company along with research and development programs.
During his career at Boeing, Kravchenko was instrumental in creating the
BCA raw material procurement program and developing new projects for
Commercial Aviation Services in Russia/CIS. In addition, he was the First Deputy Director of the Boeing Technology and Design Center in Moscow and helped establish the first Boeing office and operations in Russia/CIS.
Before Kravchenko joined Boeing in 1992, he worked as a professor and as the lead scientist of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also taught in Moscow and worked as a research consultant in Europe, United States and Asia.
Kravchenko holds two doctorate degrees, earned in 1984 and 1990, in different areas of applied mechanics and mechanical engineering. He has published more than 30 research papers and holds more than 20 patents in various areas of engineering. In 1988 Kravchenko became a winner of Russian Governmental Youth prize. In 2003 Mr. Kravchenko and his team got the Aviation Week and Space Technology Laurels award. Sergey Kravchenko, president of Boeing Russia/Commonwealth of Independent States, Thursday was named among the "Top 1,000 Russian Managers" by the Russian Managers Association and the Kommersant publishing house. As sixth on the list of the top 10 executives in the manufacturing category, Kravchenko also was nominated to the RMA/Kommersant's Aristos Award.
Dr. Kravchenko is a member of Russian Engineering Academy, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) member and Honorary Doctor of Georgian Technical University. In 2007 Kravchenko was elected as member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
