 This practical and interactive Masterclass will highlight the range of emerging market issues that reflect the complex needs of our ageing community and how to respond. MacroPlan has found that market knowledge at the local level is critical to successful projects.
The day will assist the development industry to better understand how to plan for new communities given the range issues facing older Australians. This will include how to research people’s needs and preferences relating to critical factors as lifestyle, income and wealth, migration patterns and how these issues relate to housing product and sizing, pricing, services and new and emerging location of choice.
The morning theory session will focus on new secondary and primary data analysed by MacroPlan including ABS Census changes from 2001-2006 and recent market surveys undertaken by the company that highlight not all is as it seems!
In addition, MacroPlan will be presenting findings from its recently completed National Retirement Supply Data Base, which highlights interesting proprietary data relating to current and planned supply of retirement facilities at a local level.
