Mr Anil D. Aggarwal,
Director, Paybefore, Founder & Chairman,
Network Branded Prepaid Card Association

Anil D. Aggarwal is a recognized leader in the prepaid card industry. He is currently Chief Executive Officer and a director of TxCore, a prepaid card technology company that allows prepaid card issuers and program managers to deploy their own scalable processing systems, providing full control over functionality and release timing as well as infrastructure and service levels. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Aggarwal served as Chief Executive Officer of Prepaid Media, a trade media company which owns and operates Paybefore, the leading publication for the prepaid and stored value card industry. Prepaid Media earlier created the Prepaid Card Expo, the leading trade show and conference for the prepaid card industry.

In 2007, Prepaid Media sold the Prepaid Card Expo to the Institute for International Research (IIR USA), a subsidiary of Informa (LSE: INF.L). Mr. Aggarwal is also founder and Chairman of the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA), the leading non-profit, inter-industry trade organization for network branded prepaid cards. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Aggarwal was Chief Executive Officer and a director of TSYS Prepaid, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Total System Services (TSYS) (NYSE: TSS). Previously, he co-founded Clarity Payment Solutions, a leading venture capital-backed prepaid card processor, for which he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from inception in 1999 until 2004, when the company was sold to TSYS for $53 million.

In addition to being a proven serial entrepreneur, Mr. Aggarwal has held positions as a corporate lawyer and certified public accountant with international law and accounting firms including LeBoeuf Lamb, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart and Price Waterhouse. In 1995, Mr. Aggarwal received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude, with honors and a concentration in business organizations and finance law, from Boston University School of Law. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College in 1989. He is a recipient of the 2005 Albright College Distinguished Alumnus Award and the 2006 Young Lawyers Chair from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Aggarwal is quoted extensively in trade and consumer publications, has appeared on CNNfn, and speaks often at payments industry events and educational institutions. He resides in New York City.

Mr Ken Howes,

Ken Howes is a Director of Edgar, Dunn and Company (EDC), a global management consulting firm which specialises in the financial services and payments sectors. Before joining the firm in 1996 Ken spent 26 years with Midland/ HSBC bank where he held a range of executive management positions including Head of Global Cards, Electronic Banking Director and Head of Payments Strategy and Emerging Markets.

Ken, who has had broad experience in retail banking, payments and electronic commerce has been closely involved in a number of major developments in the global payments business. Within EDC, Ken, who is based in London, has led high profile and leading edge assignments for blue chip organizations in many countries throughout the world. These include product, marketing, competitive, and international expansion strategies and due diligence projects in payments, financial services and related sectors. Within the payments business Ken has key client relationships with payment associations, card issuers, card acquirers, processors and technology vendors.

Ken is also co-founder and Director of the Prepaid International Forum, which was launched in June 2007 as a trade association representing the diverse organisations involved in prepaid commerce. Ken is a graduate of Durham University in England and a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School. He has spoken widely on payments and financial services issues internationally and has contributed to numerous articles.

Mr Doug Johnson,
Senior Policy Advisor,
American Bankers Association

Doug Johnson serves as the American Bankers Association’s Senior Policy Analyst for Government Relations, where he is involved in a variety of public policy and compliance issues. He has assisted in the ABA’s release of a series of tools to deter bank robberies, assess information technology risk, deter phishing, and safeguard customer information. He was lead staff on the current Emergency Preparedness Toolbox. Doug represents the ABA on the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council, which advises the federal bank regulatory agencies on homeland security and critical infrastructure protection issues, and serves on the BITS/Financial Services Roundtable Security and Risk Assessment Steering Committee. He is also an advisory board member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, a private corporation that works with government to provide the financial sector with cyber and physical threat and vulnerability information, as part of the nation’s homeland security initiative.

Prior to joining the American Bankers Association in 1999, Doug spent ten years as Assistant Director of the Florida Division of Banking, where he oversaw the supervision and regulation of Florida's domestic and international banking industry. During that time, he served as an advisor to the U.S. Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, assisting in their study of the use of information technologies for the control of money laundering. He also served, from 1995 through 1999, on the U.S. Treasury's Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group, which assists Treasury in understanding the impact on the payment system of Federal anti-money laundering initiatives. Doug also spent time in Miami as a planning analyst for Royal Trust Bank Group, and as a bank consultant for First Research Corporation. He has a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Florida and a Masters in Finance from Florida State University.

Ms Stefanie Koh,
Vice President, Cards Product Development & Management (Asia Pacific),

Stefanie joined JPMorgan in 2005 with a myriad of experiences in multiple areas of expertise within the banking and financial services sector, in both Consumer and Corporate Banking realms, having spearheaded improvements in various consumer and corporate banking products and processes. Stefanie is the Product manager for Prepaid Card solutions through Financial Institutions in Asia Pacific at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and she is based in the Singapore regional office. Stefanie is key in developing prepaid card solutions for JPMorgan’s Financial Institution clients in Asia Pacific.

Stefanie is well versed in the discipline of Product Development and Management for Commercial Cards, Prepaid Cards and Liabilities products. She is also proficient in the disciplines of Project Management and Business Process Re-engineering for Cash Management and Branch Banking processes.

Stefanie holds an MBA from the University of Western Australia and had graduated from National University of Singapore in English Language and Sociology.

Mr Simon Lee,

Simon is the Vice-President, Legal & Contracts with EZ-Link Pte Ltd, which is the operator of the dominant fare payment card used in Singapore. He was part of the pioneering team in EZ-Link during its establishment in 2002. Prior to joining EZ-Link, he was a litigation lawyer in private practice, and thereafter joined the legal division of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore. Simon, who is a member of the key management team, handles the company’s legal matters, and is also responsible for risk management and overseeing regulatory compliance with the central bank and transport regulator.
Mr Rupert Lee-Browne,

Prior to founding Caxton FX in 2003, Rupert had considerable experience in management consulting for financial and media groups as well as a number of successful start-ups in media and IT. In 2002, he was instrumental in the successful IPO of a financial services group and in 1999 he raised several million pounds to launch the first major online supply-chain management system for the catering industry. Rupert is a graduate from London University.

Siobhan Moore is an associate based in the London office with the banking & finance team. Siobhan is a commercial lawyer who advises on Business to Business and Business to Consumer contracts. She specialises in working in the prepaid card sector assisting businesses bring their products to market. Siobhan works closely with her clients and often sits alongside them advising them on day to day legal issues as they arise. She has been seconded to businesses such as Lloyds TSB Bank plc, IDX Systems Corporation, APS Limited and Altair Financial Services. Siobhan works alongside Robert Courtneidge, one of the top industry specialists in the e-money arena. She acts for many players in the prepaid world such as Paysafecard.com, APS Limited, Tuxedo, Altair Financial Services Limited and M-Cube.

Rajan Narayan is the Director for Asia Pacific Operations with BPC Banking Technologies, a recognized provider of e-payment solutions for the global financial industry. BPC’s solutions include the SmartVista Suite; an industry acclaimed set of software products, catering to every aspect of business related to transaction processing and card management. Rajan has more than 15 years experience in the IT Financial Services Industry in the Asia Pacific region specializing in Cards and Payments. He joined BPC early last year and is responsible for the development of BPC business and strengthening of the SmartVista brand in the Asia Pacific region, establishment and management of direct and channel sales teams, and building local support capability in the region. Rajan has previously worked for a number of banks in Australia and NZ mainly ANZ Banking Group, Colonial State Bank, Post Bank New Zealand, and Bank of New Zealand, as well as banking and finance industry solution vendors. He has a MBA degree from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia.

Graham leads the Travelex FX outsourcing prepaid card and card acquiring business(s) that Travelex operates in the Asia Pacific region, including staffing, operational and financial responsibility. Customers of these businesses are typically financial institutions and travel related partners who require payments and travel money services. Graham is responsible for the profitable operation of the foreign exchange and prepaid businesses whilst ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Starting with Travelex (Thomas Cook at that time) in 1987 Graham has worked in a wide range of Travelex businesses across Australia and elsewhere. Specifically Graham has spent the last 20 years working in the financial services industry focusing on delivering payments and foreign exchange services through our Business Partners and also our retail and gateway operations. Graham holds a Diploma in Financial Services and Foreign Exchange products.

Paul Swinton has drawn on his 15 years of Strategic and Operational Management Consulting experience to blue chip clients such as Coca-Cola and Marks and Spencer in the FMCG and Retail sectors to bring a fresh approach to the development of Prepaid card programs. Focusing on the business and consumer need to drive innovative solutions, the development of the BREAD program in the UK is the first which PCS have undertaken but is sure not to be the last.
