Mr. Benevides holds an undergraduate degree in organizational psychology and economics from the University of Maryland, awarded in 1989. He completed additional studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, 1999 and the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. Dan has been an avid personal supporter of the United Way for twenty years, Leadership Campaign Chair for Scotiabank and most recently Employee Campaign Chair. Dan is also on the board of Casey House Hospice.
