Burcin joined Turkcell in 2004 as a project manager of different scale projects for corporate customers. He is leading the m-commerce business in Turkcell since 2005. In this position he helped Turkcell introducing m-payment in Turkey. He is also responsible for research and implementation of different m-payment and m-commerce schemes and applications in Turkcell including NFC. He represents Turkcell in different organisations and working groups across the world. Prior to joining Turkcell, Burcin worked between 1999 and 2004 in Nortel Networks Turkey. During this period he held different product and sales management positions. He also set the specifications of a new SDH product and led the product introduction. Burcin Acan received his MBA degree in 1997 and also holds MSc degree in Electronics & Telecommunication.

Gerhard Romen joined NOKIA Corporation in 1999, having spent almost 2 decades in the IT industry and especially the software and solutions sector. At Nokia, Gerhard is focussing on New Business Solutions and has been part of Nokia´s NFC Solutions since 2003. He is also a representative of Nokia at the NFC Forum and the Vice-Chairman of the NFC Forum´s board. Before joining Nokia Gerhard was VP with Borland International, a manufacturer of software development tools, responsible for their EMEA region. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions with client/server and database specialist Sybase and SoftSwitch Inc., a software vendor for Email and EDI switching. Gerhard started his career as a programmer analyst in the applications development environment of Data Organisation Services, a leading German software company. In addition to his duties at MasterCard, Pugh serves as co-president of the Mobile Payment Forum, an organization dedicated to the development of standardized infrastructure to support secure mobile payments. András Vilmos, Managing Director of SafePay Systems Ltd. and Project Manager of StoLPaN, has pursued a long carrier in corporate finance. A few years ago Mr. Vilmos launched his own company active in business and financial consulting. In the past few years Mr. Vilmos was actively involved in the development of mobile payment solutions, and the introduction of mobile banking. As Project Manager of StoLPaN, Mr. Vilmos coordinates the research and development activity of the 18 member international consortium to establish an open platform mobile NFC application for the support of a range of contactless services like payment, ticketing and loyalty programs. Mr. Vilmos holds patents related to electronic transactions and is the author of a number of publications on the topic of “e” and “m” payments.
