| Exploiting the combination of mobile and NFC
If NFC follows the same steep growth curve and speed of development as contactless payment like analysts predict will happen, there is a strong business case in the proposition to issuers, merchants and consumers alike.
This full-day workshop builds on the combination of mobile and NFC technology in a variety of sectors to help the participants develop both a shared baseline built from their practical experiences and useful perspectives on the future. The goal is to provide the participants with the knowledge to explore and exploit this genuinely disruptive technology combination.
09.30 | Session One:
Understanding the momentum for NFC in the mobile context
Participants will be presented with some examples of contactless (proximity) deployments in a number of market sectors to identify the key drivers for stakeholders and to clarify the lessons already learned that are relevant to the mobile/NFC combination. |
| |
11.00 | Morning break
11.30 | Session Two: Technical Architecture
In this session, participants will be introduced to a structured view of the combination of NFC and mobile technologies; review some practical experiences to understand basic technical architectures. |
