His role includes management of the user centered design activities, UI design and planning across Telstra's consumer, business and enterprise products and operational management of the new Telstra Experience Centre, a world-class customer engagement and demonstration facility. 

Cyrus has extensive experience in the mobile domain, including product and business management at the local and global levels and sustains an ongoing fascination with the power of converged digital mediacommunications experiences to positively change people's lives.

Previously, Mark worked for MTV International as the Director of Mobile where he led the development and production of MTVNI’s core mobile content offer including Mobile TV, Video, WAP Sites, Personalisation and Games. Before Vodafone, Mark developed the BBC’s broadband video offer and produced the BBC’s first Mobile TV & Video services including the Olympic Games 2004, Eurovision and Live 8.

Rob Belgiovane is a founding partner and Executive Creative Director of Belgiovane Williams Mackay and board director of the BWM Group, the largest independent marketing communications group in Australia. BWM’s clients include Telstra BigPond, LG Electronics, Masserati, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Virgin Money, Guinness and GIO.

In 1988 Rob founded BAM, one of Australia’s fastest growing and most awarded agencies. In 1995 he joined Saatchi & Saatchi, Melbourne as creative director and management board member. The agency doubled in size and significantly improved its award performance while he was there.

In 2006 BWM’s work for Telstra BigPond was included in the permanent collection of the department of film and media in the New York Museum of modern art.  And the agency work for Telstra BigPond was voted Australia’s best ad campaign last year.

Before joining Ten, Peter worked for ITV in the UK for 15 years.   He started his career selling airtime for the UK's biggest commercial broadcaster and was then responsible for setting up ITV Online in 1995.  Before moving to TEN last year, Peter was responsible for ITV Interactive TV and Mobile sales at ITV which included live streaming of ITV channels to 3G handsets as well as over 70 Enhanced TV applications annually and over 300 interactive advertising campaigns on the UK's three digital TV channels.

Amanda Brook joined Sensis in March 2004 as General Manager Marketing.

Before moving to Sensis, Amanda held positions as Chief Executive Officer, Sussan Retail, Chief Executive Officer, Creative Brands Pty Ltd. and Brand Leader, Priceline Pty Ltd. She has also been responsible for the roll-out of the Priceline Pharmacy franchise network and the launch of the Officeworks Superstores on behalf of Coles Myer Ltd.

Based in London, UK, Nicholas Heller is responsible for strategic partnerships within the media & publishing sector at Google. He is tasked with identifying, structuring, and negotiating the syndication of Google products; thereby creating revenue-generating partnerships across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Nicholas has over 8 years of digital media and technology experience, with the last 4 years focused on wireless multimedia. Prior to joining Google, Nicholas worked for Viacom Networks UK & Ireland, where he created the digital strategy and led new cross platform initiatives. In 2007 he was elected to the EMEA Board of the Mobile Marketing Association, and in 2006, he published a report on the ‘Growth of Mobile Multimedia Advertising’. Previously, as a mobile multimedia consultant, Nicholas engaged leading media organizations such as Endemol, and helped craft mobile advertising strategies at operators such as Vodafone Europe, Three UK, and Mitsui, in Japan. In 2002, as Founder and Managing Director of Degrees Of Separation, he worked throughout North America as a digital media consultant and was directly responsible for establishing new channels to market for fortune 500 companies including Gateway Computers and Universal Music.

Christina was also the value added services manager for Orange Australia (Hutchison) prior to joining the 3 Content Team, where she was responsible for the management of content and communication services.

Ben also developed Australia’s first Video on Demand network at TransACT Communications along with the first A la carte Pay TV service and a fledgling IPTV prototype.

Chris was formerly the Managing Director of the UK-based TV producer, Gamer.tv , a subsidiary of TWI. In this role he pioneered the creation of mobile game trailers and the distribution of television content to mobile and connected devices.

Chris has a strong background in video game publishing, mobile portal and television production businesses and has worked for some of the leading companies in these fields in Australia and Europe, including Village Roadshow, Hasbro Interactive and Vodafone.

Kylie O’Reilly is the Managing Director of Australian Associated Press (AAP). AAP is the national news agency of Australia; it employs almost 500 people including over 180 journalists and provides a comprehensive Australian and international news service to the Australian media business - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

She joined AAP in 2002 from Excite@Home Australia, the Optus led joint venture which introduced into Australia the award winning, Optus@Home broadband service.  Prior to joining Excite@Home, she worked with Fairfax Digital for 3 years ensuring that each classified site was strategically placed as number one or two in their respective category.

Kylie has over 15 years experience in the media industry and holds a MBA.

Search Marketing, Willie was the Vice President, Sales and Business Development at Melbourne IT Limited.  During his five years, he successfully established Melbourne IT’s market presence in key growth markets in Asia Pacific.   In addition, Willie was responsible for establishing the operations and sales networks for Hitwise in Asia and handling its key strategic partners including SingTel and PCCW.

Adrianne is Executive Director of the Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft, an association charged with the prevention, investigation and prosecution of film and television piracy in Australia.

Prior to this appointment Adrianne Pecotic was Executive Director of Grundy Television, having joined as Legal Officer on completion of her degrees in Arts & Law. Adrianne worked extensively at Grundy in all areas of exploitation of audio visual copyright and television production, and in 1996 was appointed General Manager of Grundy Australasia.
Adrianne Pecotic was Television Division Councillor for the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) from 1998 until 2004. She has represented the industry on many industrial and policy matters, and addressed Senate, Productivity Commission and Australian Broadcasting Authority hearings on issues effecting the Australian film and television industry.

In the past twelve months, she has overseen the development and launch of off-deck mobile sites for carsguide.com.au and NEWS.com.au.


Paz joined News Digital Media in 2005 and played an integral role in the launch and integration of truelocal.com.au into the News Digital Media network. She has over ten years experience in the digital industry and has held a number of positions with Optus, Oven Digital and Spike Wireless.

Since 2005, Paz has been an active member of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) NSW State Chapter committee.
 

 

 

Richard Sherwood

Richard Sherwood has more than 15 years marketing experience across Business-to-Business, FMCG and Telecommunications.
 
In his role as General Manager Mass Markets at Vodafone Australia since 2002, Richard led the team that launched capped mobile phone plans, changing the way customers used their mobiles.
 
Richard also led Vodafone’s foray into infotainment services. His team launched Vodafone live! in April 2003 and went on to re-launch the service with 3G in November 2005. Today, more than half a million customers access Vodafone live! with 3G, which leads the market with the biggest range of mobile TV channels and more than 700,000 music tracks.
According to Richard, 2008 will be the year that mobile data hits the mainstream.

Anny is a freelance writer for the Australian sketch show COMEDY INC- The Late Shift. The show was recently nominated for a Rose D’or TV award and six 2006 AFI awards.
In 2007, she attended N.I.D.A. as part of the Institute’s prestigious Directors Intensive program and her film work has recently been honoured by inclusion in Australia’s National Collection held at the National Film and Sound Archive. 

She has just helmed the much anticipated political comedies ATONEMENT TONIGHT and BARNEY THE TERRIER and is currently preparing to direct a music video for the DVD release of a major U.S. pop band’s latest album. A BARNEY series has recently been commissioned by Sony Pictures for international distribution on mobile and sell through to TV.

Horden Wiltshire
