Gautam Advani was appointed Head, Go-To-Market, Devices, Software & Services in Nokia’s Southeast Asia Pacific, effective 1 January 2008. Together with the Sales Channels, Marketing heads and other support functions, he is responsible for driving the device and services categories GTM cluster roadmapping, lifecycle management, sales targets and resources planning, representing markets and giving input to the global category heads. He was a founder member of Genie (a British Telecom venture that later became O2) which delivered advanced mobile data services to over 12 million customers in Europe and South-East Asia. He was responsible for the management of countrywide and international level service roll-outs. During his time at O2, Michael had responsibility for O2 Active, the company's flagship mobile data offering. Under his stewardship the mobile service grew to encompass more than 50% of all UK Mobile internet traffic and became Europe’s leading mobile portal.
Michael began his career at publishers Reed Elsevier where he was responsible for executing the online strategy for some of their premium titles. He worked closely with Microsoft in the UK and USA, to help Reed become one of the world's leading electronic publishers.

David Ko is vice president and general manager for Yahoo!’s Connected Life business across Asia. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for extending Yahoo!’s mobile products, broadband services, digital home initiatives and PC client experiences. David also oversees the deployment and distribution of Yahoo! oneSearch, Yahoo! Go suite of services, and mobile advertising across the Asia Pacific region.
Since joining Yahoo! in April 2000, David has been a leader in driving the company’s mobile business and managing key partnerships with vendors, device manufactures and operators including AT&T, Globe Telecom, Helio, Motorola, RIM, Rogers, Sprint, Taiwan Mobile, Verizon, and others.
In his previous role at Yahoo!, David was senior director of global mobile and was responsible for developing and implementing Yahoo!’s worldwide mobile strategy. He was a key contributor in the distribution strategy of Yahoo! products and services including: Yahoo! Mobile Web, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Mobile Search, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Games and Yahoo! Photos. Before joining the mobile team, David was the senior director for consumer services for Yahoo!, where he was responsible for developing a distribution strategy for Yahoo! premium services.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, David served as a senior associate for Equity Capital Markets at Salomon Smith Barney, where he was responsible for identifying, executing and closing deals in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Before joining the Equity Capital Markets group, he was a financial analyst for the Investment Banking Division in Global Energy.
David is a graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business.

Keith Liu was appointed Head of Games, Go-To-Market, Services & Software team in Nokia’s Southeast Asia Pacific, effective 1 January 2008. Keith is responsible for driving Nokia Games services, notably N-Gage and games for the mass consumer market, in the region.
In his previous role in Nokia, Keith was heading the Games and Internet Experiences portfolio in Nokia Multimedia Asia Pacific where he oversaw the development and delivery of interactive consumer experiences related to Nokia’s gaming strategy as well as Internet-related services such as e-mail, search and instant messaging. He was also managing the Nokia Maps portfolio then for the region.

Alan Seiffert, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships in CNBC Asia, is spearheading the network’s business development and partnership department in this region. In this capacity, he will oversee CNBC’s efforts to build up business opportunities for the network in the Asia Pacific region. He is also responsible for managing relations with CNBC’s current partners in Asia Pacific, developing new opportunities with them, as well as building strategic partnerships with other potential associates in the region, in a bid to extend the network’s reach and strengthen the CNBC brand. Alan is based in Singapore.
Alan joins CNBC Asia Pacific, from NBC Universal Television Distribution, based at Universal City, California, where he was the Vice President of Business Affairs, responsible for deal transactions for their television production and syndication division. He was also instrumental in negotiating global television format and straight licensing deals, throughout Asia Pacific, including China, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, South East Asia, and Australia, as well as in Europe, and the Middle East. He also handled numerous new media transactions including content deals on interactive, mobile, broadband, and IPTV platforms. Alan was also an active player in the integration of the distribution units following NBC’s 2004 acquisition of Universal.
Prior to NBCU, Alan served as Assistant General Counsel for the National Basketball Association’s entertainment group where he was responsible for negotiating international television licensing deals. During his tenure with the NBA, Alan worked extensively with a variety of platforms and channels throughout Asia, including in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Alan has also held various positions within the FOX Entertainment Group, last one being the Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs for their television syndication unit.
Alan is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He holds a bachelors degree from California State University, Northridge, and an M.A. from New York University. Alan has served on the Board of various cultural organizations, and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences

Ian Stewart is VP, Research and Planning for MTV Asia.
Ian was the CEO of youth marketing agency FILTER, which he founded in 2000. Filter was acquired in 2005 by global market research company Synovate, and Ian spent a year integrating his company into Synovate as the global head of trend research.
Prior to setting up FILTER, Ian worked at MTV Asia, in charge of consumer strategy; as a strategic planner for Ogilvy; and for Coca-Cola as their trend manager in North Asia. Ian came to Asia from Sydney in 1990, starting his career with qualitative market research firm MBL.
A regular speaker at marketing conferences around the world, and a regular contributor to industry publications, Ian is regarded as one of Asia’s leading commentators on consumer trends. More importantly he enjoys life swimming in the pool with his young son Luke

As Senior Manager of Content Services, Mabel is responsible for the planning and acquisition of cross-platform content, as well as the management of content partners and services, a strategically important area of focus in StarHub's hubbing proposition. Prior to her current appointment, Mabel was responsible for the planning and development of StarHub's 3G and i-mode content portfolios.
Mabel first joined StarHub in 2002 and managed the company's presence on the Internet, as well as its content services online. She has successfully launched Singapore’s first largest music download service, StarHub’s ;PLAY music portal as well as SPECTRUM, Singapore’s first local digital arts portal. Both portals have been awarded the 2004 International Business Awards for their design and content.
Before joining StarHub, Mabel worked at Yahoo! as the head of its e-commerce team and grew Y! Shopping and Auctions to become market leaders in Singapore. She was also credited to have developed the first e-commerce ASP solution for SME businesses at Yahoo!
Mabel received a bachelor's degree in business administration (Merit) from the National University of Singapore in 1994 and made it on the Dean's Distinction List for that year.
Mabel is married with a son, and enjoys reading and swimming.

Laura E. Wendt is the Vice President and Managing Director of Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia). Wendt is responsible for managing Disney channels and Disney-branded television businesses in Southeast Asia. The markets she oversees are Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Palau and Papua New Guinea.
Laura Wendt is a highly experienced executive in the media industry with an impressive track record in the US and global markets. Over the past 20 years, she has held senior management positions with three major global media companies accumulating comprehensive knowledge in the management of successful multi-media brands. She has extensive experience in effectively supervising large teams and substantial budgets with a dynamic leadership style and a consistent focus on the bottom-line.
Prior to her joining Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia), Wendt was senior vice president of Research and Planning at Nickelodeon Networks Entertainment Group in New York, reporting to the COO of the MTV Networks Entertainment Division. Before that, Wendt was based in London and worked with Nickelodeon International as vice president of Research, and then Frank N. Magid Associates – a research and consulting company for the entertainment industry - as managing director. Her international media experience began at Turner Broadcasting Sales, supporting the CNN International, Cartoon Network International and TNT International sales divisions with sales research.
Wendt holds a Masters of Arts degree from the New School, New York City. She and her husband Scot Mario and their two children Shane and Cole are based in Singapore.

As Head of VAS, he oversees Content Development, Product Management and Platform Management. As part of the Multimedia Business Group, he is involved in developing new business models and revenue streams within Music, Games, Communities and TV (fixed and mobile).
Prior to Globe telecom, he was Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President-International of Com2uS Corporation, the largest mobile games publishers in Korea and one of the largest in the world. He managed business development, marketing and games development. Com2uS games are available in over 43 countries and 100+ operators worldwide. Prior to Com2uS, he held management positions at IBM, AIG and American Express. He has lived and worked in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific and is multi-lingual. He holds a BA, MBA and JD and is a US certified lawyer.
