Deborah A. Fuhr, Executive Director, Investment Strategies at Morgan Stanley in London is responsible for Investment Strategies which covers the analysis and comparison of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) around the world, futures, swaps, certificates and, OPALS Optimised Portfolios As Listed Securities. Ms Fuhr works with institutional clients helping them to Implement Asset Allocation using alternative products. In the 2003 and 2004 International Fund Investment IFI and in the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Greenwich Associates survey of institutional investors in Europe ranked Morgan Stanley first for ETF strategy. Previously from 1997 - 2001 she was Global Head of Marketing and Sales for OPALS and Exchange Traded Funds to accounts in Europe.

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ghayur sets and implements Westpeak’s policy direction and operating plans. He is a member of Westpeak’s Board and Chairman of the Investment Committee, which designs, monitors and reviews the investment process and products. He also directs Westpeak’s global marketing, sales and client service activities. Prior to joining Westpeak in 2007, Mr. Ghayur was employed by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Barra, where he was a member of its Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the MSCI Index Policy Committee. As Director of Research Policy, he was responsible for MSCI Barra’s global markets and benchmarking research, and new product development. Previously, Mr. Ghayur was Global Head of Quantitative Research and Strategy for HSBC Asset Management, in London, where he was responsible for supervising and coordinating the development and application of all quantitative research efforts globally. These research efforts concentrated in the areas of strategic and tactical asset allocation, fixed income modeling, stock selection techniques, portfolio construction and analysis, and risk measurement. From 1994 to 1996, he was a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Credit Lyonnais Asset Management, in Paris. Mr. Ghayur held the position of Portfolio Manager at Union National Bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he was responsible for managing the Bank’s UK and US investment portfolios from 1987 to 1991. Mr. Ghayur has served on the Nominating Committee of the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute and as Chairman of the Board's External Relations and Volunteer Involvement Committee. He is also a former trustee of the CFA Institute Research Foundation. Mr. Ghayur was a member of the Editorial Board of the Financial Analysts Journal and was the Founding President of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. Mr. Ghayur received an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, and an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from the University of Karachi. He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers. Joseph Ho is Managing Director, Head of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) Sales and Marketing, based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for expanding the bank’s ETF business across the Asia-Pacific region including developing new markets and products. Prior to joining, Joseph was with Barclays Global Investors in Hong Kong for 8 years as Regional Director, North Asia and Head of iShares, Asia ex-Japan. Joseph has over 25 years of experience in the asset management industry in the region, having worked in Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan. He started his career as a portfolio manager and has since expanded his responsibilities to cover product/business development and marketing & sales. Joseph graduated from the University of Alberta, Canada, with a Master Degree of Business Administration and a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. He is a qualified CFA in Taiwan.

Mr Hoff has worked for FTSE Group since he opened the Tokyo office in 2003. He is responsible for operations across the Asia Pacific region, which began when the Hong Kong office was established in 2001. In his role at FTSE Group, Mr Hoff oversees business development in the Asia Pacific region and works to develop partnerships in the local financial communities. Amongst the most notable of the partnerships to date has been the partnership in China with Xinhua Finance and the work with Bursa Malaysia, Singapore Exchanges, Stock Exchange of Thailand, Taiwan Stock Exchange and ASEAN. Mr Hoff also directs the sales, marketing and client services functions for the region. Prior to joining FTSE Group, Mr Hoff worked in the Japanese financial markets for more than 25 years. During 17 years with HSBC Securities’ Tokyo branch, Mr Hoff worked in Japanese equity research and sales, international equity capital markets, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He was initially responsible for establishing the James Capel & Co. securities branch, the forerunner to HSBC Securities Tokyo branch. He began his career in equities with Grieveson, Grant and Co., setting up its Japanese equity research department in 1983. Mr Hoff has lived in Asia for 30 years and speaks fluent Japanese.

Jason oversees the research and investment management areas at Research Affiliates. He manages all investment operations associated with the firm's sub-advisory and hedge fund businesses. In addition, he oversees research on the asset allocation models and equity strategies that underpin RA's fundamental indexation concept. Jason worked closely with Robert Arnott to originate the Research Affiliates fundamental indexation methodology. As a consultant to Asian investment banks, securities dealers, and insurance companies, Jason focused on issues such as risk management, strategic asset allocation, and convergence trading. His consulting clients have included Farmer's Insurance Group, Global Window Partners, VirtualStockExchange.com, and Taiwan National Association of Securities Dealers. He began his career working in the derivatives research/trading area of Taiwan’s Far Eastern Securities. Jason taught financial management at the Taiwan National University of Political Science (NCCU) and at the Shanghai University of Financial Economics. He was also a research fellow at the NCCU’s Center for Business Economics and Computational Finance. Jason is currently a visiting professor at the Paul Merage School of Management at the University of California, Irvine. Jason graduated summa cum laude from California Institute of Technology and earned his Ph.D. in finance at the University of California, Los Angeles where he conducted research on the equity premium, business cycles, and portfolio allocations.

Chris Johnson joined Vanguard Investments Singapore in November 2006 as head of institutional business. Prior to relocating to Singapore, Chris was a senior manager in Vanguard's U.S. headquarters where he managed a team responsible for supporting Vanguard's business development efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. Chris has been with Vanguard since March 1998 and has served in a variety of institutional relationship management roles in both U.S. and globally focused business lines. Chris holds a B.A. (honors) degree in Asian Studies from Colgate University and a Graduate Business Certificate in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.

Mark joined Deutsche Bank in January 1996. Since that time until April 2004 he authored the DB Daily – a daily strategy thought piece, which was the most widely read research produced by Deutsche Bank globally. Mark has worked across both the equity and global markets divisions within Deutsche Bank. Mark was appointed Head of Regional Strategy for the Asian equities business in April 2004. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mark was General Manager and Director of Research at Syntec Economics – a private Australian think-tank and consultancy. While there, Mark advised senior management in both the public and corporate sectors. He has also worked as a fund manager and a lecturer at several Australian universities. Mark is a Commonwealth Scholar and holds a Master's Degree from Simon Fraser University in Canada.

Richard Kang has been active in both institutional and individual asset/risk management for over twelve years with extensive experience in alternative asset classes especially hedge funds and managed futures, as well as strategies applying the use of passive instruments. Richard spent over six years with a boutique investment firm whose services for institutional investors focused on: 1) TAA strategies using index derivatives, 2) Long-short US equity programs, and 3) Structured products with underlying hedge fund strategies. Subsequently, Richard was hired to build and manage the investment management subsidiary of a private wealth management firm. In late 2002, Richard co-founded an investment counseling firm managing globally diversified portfolios including both traditional and alternative asset classes primarily through the use of passive instruments. For private investors, mandates were global long-only asset allocation mandates with option overlays. For institutional investors (multi-strategy hedge funds and FOFs), mandates were primarily short-only “beta filtering” overlay programs to offset unwanted market risk/exposures but also to advise on areas of new or alternative beta exposures to consider based on statistical analysis. In addition to running his firm, in the summer of 2003 Richard was retained by a Toronto based start up fund-of-hedge-funds for two years to oversee its operations in the role of Chief Investment Officer. Richard earned his Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, the Toronto CFA Society and MENSA Canada. Jane Leung is Head of Product for iShares Asia ex-Japan. Jane joined BGI in July 2001 and was a senior portfolio manager in the US iShares Equity Portfolio Management group before moving to Hong Kong. Prior to joining BGI, she worked as an active portfolio manager at Berger and Associates, LLC and as a junior analyst in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette. Jane has over 12 years of investment management experience and received her BA in political science with an emphasis in international relations from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995. She is a CFA charterholder and holds Series 7, 63, and 3 Licenses.

Fergus Lynch joined Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets Research team in 1999 as Managing Director and Global Head of Index Development. Fergus manages a team of people that develop and market Deutsche Bank's Index Product and Portfolio Analysis capabilities. Fergus and his team have launched a global family of indices, spanning equities, bonds, CDS, FX, inflation, High Yield and EM. These indices are supported by a powerful index and portfolio tool, DBIQ, and by a suite of tradable products. Fergus currently sits on the board of iBoxx (IIC), the independent Fixed Income Index provider and is the current chairman of the company. He also sits on the board of TheMarkets.Com. Fergus joined Deutsche Bank from Merrill Lynch's Fixed Income Research Team where he was responsible for Marketing Index products to European clients. Prior to this, Fergus spent eight years at Lehman Brothers where he developed and marketed the Lehman Brothers international index products. Fergus holds a BA in Computer Engineering as well as a BA in Mathematics and an MSc in Computer Science, all from Trinity College, Dublin.

Glenn Maguire is the Asia Pacific Chief Economist for Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking based in Hong Kong. Having joined the bank in 1996, Glenn has principal carriage for regional economic research. Glenn is a member of the Global Capital Markets Economics Team that produces a number of highly regarded economic and cross asset publications. Additionally, Glenn also produces a suite of economic products specific to the Asian Market. Glenn has over 15 years of applied economic forecasting experience in demanding public and private sector roles. Previous to joining Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, Glenn was an economic adviser in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet in Canberra, Australia. Working with the Reserve Bank and Federal Treasury (the Joint Economic Forecasting Group) he helped to formulate the Government’s official forecasts for the Australian economy and provided in depth economic analysis for the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Prior to this, Glenn worked as a research Assistant to Professor Bary Hughes at the University of Newcastle in Australia. Dr Hughes is widely regarded as one of Australia's leading macro-economists.

Jooyoung Yun is the head of index management team for Woori Credit Suisse Asset Management Company which is the member of Woori Financial Group in Korea and Joint Venture with Credit Suisse. Mr. Yun is responsible for both managing all index funds including ETFs and overseeing index fund strategies. The funds managed by his team include equity index funds , broad market, sector and style ETFs(Brand Name is KOSEF), quantitatively managed futures funds, commodity index funds, and global REITs index funds. Mr. Yun joined the Woori Credit Suisse in 2005 and played key role in the deployment and development of the index products business. Previously, Mr. Yun was a head of quantitative strategies team and managed various index funds and quantitative funds for Yurie Asset Management.. Mr. Yun is the Ph.D. Candidate and MBA in Financial Engineering from KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering. He also became a CFA charter holder in September 2002.
