Before joining UBS in 2003, he worked at Goldman Sachs; he also spent eight years at the International Monetary Fund, including three years as Resident Representative in China and three years as Resident Representative in Russia. From 2003 through 2007 Jonathan was Chief Asian Economist for UBS, and was top-ranked in a wide range of broker polls including Asiamoney, Institutional Investor, The Asset and FinanceAsia. He is the author of “The Five Great Myths About China and the World", and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and Russian.

Aged 46, Geoffrey has worked in Asia Pacific economic and market research since 1986. He graduated from Bath University in 1985 with a BSc in Economics and Politics, and then in 1986 from City University Business School in London with an MBA. Geoffrey worked initially at Smith New Court in London as an Asia Pacific economist, then at Barings in Tokyo as Chief Economist - Japan and Head of Japan Research, at Schroders in Hong Kong as Chief Economist - Asia Pacific and Head of Asia Pacific Research, and at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as Head of Asia Pacific Economics and Strategy. From 2000 to 2004 at HSBC he was Chief Economist - Asia Pacific, and Head of Asia Pacific Research, with responsibility for all currency, fixed income and equity research. He has lived in the region for seventeen years, from 1991 to 1995 in Japan, and since 1996 in Hong Kong. Geoffrey joined BIA in October 2005 with lead responsibility for the firm’s economic and market research. He has been Portfolio Manager of the BIA Pacific Macro Fund since its inception in March 2006.

David Ben-Ur, CFA, Partner, Portfolio Manager and Director of Research is responsible for research and portfolio management for the firm, with a focus on equity strategies. Prior to joining Corbin Capital Partners in March 2004, Mr. Ben-Ur worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he was Vice President, Senior Investment Strategist and the senior leader responsible for U.S. equity investments for the company’s $14B manager of managers business. Prior to joining Goldman, Sachs & Co., Mr. Ben-Ur worked at Fidelity Management & Research, as a Senior Fund Analyst and Assistant Investment Strategist at Fidelity’s fund of funds unit. Mr. Ben-Ur graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in Spanish Literature and Comparative Religion and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Mr. Ben-Ur received his Master’s in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and was awarded the CFA charter in 1998. Kevin R. Birkett is Director, Asset Management, at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the world’s fastest-growing financial centre. In this role within the Business Development Unit of the DIFC, he is responsible for attracting asset managers to the DIFC and helping them to obtain the appropriate licenses to operate within the financial centre. Mr. Birkett, who brings considerable experience to the position, interacts with asset management companies and at all levels, including Boards of Directors. Mr. Carroll is Managing Director and CIO of the Absolute Return Hedge Fund at Diversified Global Asset Management (DGAM), a $2.7 billion alternative investments firm. He joined DGAM from RBC Capital Markets, where he developed, structured, and implemented risk management solutions for the bank and corporate clients. Mr. Carroll has a Ph.D in Mathematics from the University of Florida, an M.Sc. in Mathematics from Dalhousie University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Joseph Cavatoni joined UBS in September 2003 as the Head of Equity Swaps and Collateral Trading in Asia. He has over 16 years of experience in the banking industry. He has recently taken responsibility for the regional management of all Asian SBL and Equity Swaps activity for the firm. Prior to joining UBS, Joseph served with Merrill Lynch as a Credit Analyst and was responsible for Merrill's Equity Prime Brokerage business in Asia. Prior to that, he was trained as a credit officer for Bank of America. Joseph has a Bachelors of Business Administration from the George Washington University and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Clark Cheng joined the HSBC Group in March 2005 and is the Head of US Research. In this role, he is responsible for managing the hedge fund due diligence process in the Americas. Additionally, he is a member of the Alternative Investment Group Management Committee and Alternative Investment Policy Committee, which is responsible for $55B in hedge fund investments across both discretionary and advisory mandates. He has been integral in developing quantitative tools and improving the investment process and risk management for the investment platform. Before joining HSBC, Mr. Cheng performed hedge fund research at Guggenheim Partners and Morgan Stanley between 2002 and 2005. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked in Credit Suisse First Boston’s equity research department in 2001. He spent six year building and establishing West Coast Economics before joining Credit Suisse. Mr. Cheng holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations. He completed his Masters Degree in Business Administration at Duke University in 2002 and received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business/Economics and Psychology from UCLA in 1994.

Simon has written for and featured in various financial publications on the topics of Greater China markets and hedge funds, and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Cunningham is President and Co-Founder of Touchstone Group, LLC, a financial services firm that raises institutional capital for hedge fund and private equity managers in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australasia. Touchstone was founded in 2002 and operates with six full-time professionals in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Sydney, Australia. The company’s principals have helped raise over $2.5 billion in institutional capital. Previously, Mr. Cunningham co-founded and served as President of an investment management firm that advised the first life-cycle mutual funds focused on retirement investing, and advised pension fund trustees on a variety of asset-liability and governance issues. Prior to this, he served as a investment consultant to a number of major institutional investors on alternative asset allocations. Mr. Cunningham co-founded and managed a group of venture capital funds headquartered in Philadelphia. He has co-authored two books on investing. As Senior Strategist and Head of Capital Introductions – Asia, for Newedge Prime Brokerage Group, Kirby Daley services hedge fund investors and managers all over the Asia-Pacific region. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Kirby started his career as a trader for the Special Commodities Division of the Pillsbury Company in the early 1990's. He made a move to Japan in 1993, where his work experience included broking Japanese commodity futures and dealing foreign exchange, with a focus on Japanese yen crosses, before joining Newedge Group in Tokyo (formerly called Fimat Group) in 2001. At Newedge, Kirby worked initially as a Japan Strategist, but added the Hedge Fund Capital Introductions role in late 2002, and currently handles all of these duties out of the Newedge office in Hong Kong. Kirby is featured prominently in the media for his views on the global economy, markets and politics, having had a regular Monday morning weekly spot on CNBC Asia (Asia Squawk Box) from early 2003 through Spring 2008, and continuing frequent appearances on CNN International, Bloomberg TV, the BBC.

Teall Edds is a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager of Stark Investments. Prior to joining Stark in 2003, he served as Regional Head of Credit Risk Management at Credit Suisse Financial Products (Hong Kong) and as Director, Head of Credit Risk Management for Southern Asia Pacific at CSFB (Singapore), where he was involved with structured finance and distressed loan management during the Asian financial crisis. Prior to his arrival in Asia in 1997, he spent six years in New York with Credit Suisse Financial Products and Citicorp Securities, with experience in municipal finance, Latin American Emerging Markets and structured finance transactions. Michael Feldschuh is a portfolio manager on the Japan Equity Market Neutral Investment Team, focusing on the creation and management of absolute return strategies. Michael re-joined Morgan Stanley in 2005 and has 15 years of investment experience. Prior to re-joining the firm, he was a managing director and portfolio manager for Millennium Partners, where he created and managed multi-country, process-driven strategies for non-U.S. markets including Japan, Britain, France, Germany and Sweden. Previously, Michael was a proprietary trader in the equity division of Morgan Stanley & Co. In that role he developed and traded process-driven strategies for several world markets. Prior to that, Michael was with D.E. Shaw in New York as a proprietary trader of Japanese equities and derivatives. He received a B.A. in pre-med from Columbia University.

Justin Ferrier is the CEO and founder of Myo Capital. The Myo Capital Master Fund seeks high capital appreciation and a low risk of capital loss by investing in four complimentary credit related strategies that can be dynamically sized depending on the most attractive opportunity set: (i) distressed debt, (ii) private debt financings, (iii) high yield, and (iv) credit event driven equity. Prior to founding Myo Capital Justin spent eight years with ADM Capital, as a Director and a member of the investment committee, where he was responsible for identifying, researching and investing in distressed debt and private debt financings across the Asian region. Peter C. Ferry graduated with a B.A. in Classics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 and an MBA in Finance from Hong Kong University in 1993. Ashutosh Gupta is the Head of the Private Equity group and Chief Transition Officer for Investment Research at Evalueserve. Prior to Evalueserve, Ashutosh was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. He worked in several capacities at Goldman Sachs in New York and London including the New Products group and the Equities division. His last job was at the Equity Finance trading desk in London where he was part of a structuring team that put together large structured trades for corporations and financial institutions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ashutosh attended New York University Stern School of Business and before that worked as a consultant with Roy F Weston, Inc., an engineering consulting firm in Philadelphia, USA. Ashutosh served as a reviewer for several leading journals in Environmental Engineering. In 1997, he also qualified as a Professional Engineer in District of Columbia. At New York University Stern School of Business, Ashutosh was named ‘Stern Scholar’ based on his academic performance. At Goldman Sachs, Ashutosh held several positions over a six year sting in New York and London and won an early promotion to Vice President. Ashutosh Gupta received his BTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1990, his MS in Environmental Engineering from University of Cincinnati in 1993, and his MBA from New York University in 1999.

Renee Haugerud is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Principal of Galtere Ltd., which is the registered investment advisor of a Commodity based Global Macro Hedge Fund established in 1999, with current assets under management in excess of $1 billion. Ms Haugerud is noted for pioneering a unique methodology that combines a diverse profile and theme investment strategy along with rigorous risk management techniques. An early focus on exposures employing agricultural instruments and bio energy markets, as well as a belief in the potential of commodity markets since the late 1990s have been among the hallmarks of Ms Auugerud's successful investment career. Ms Haugerud has been trading in global financial markest on four continents since 1980. Her expertise spans all asset classes and instruments. She began her tenure in financial markets by trading cash commodity markets in the United States and Canada for Cargill Inc. and Continental Grain. Her interests in the relationship between financial markets and geopolitics led to her first international post in Geneva Switzerland, where she ultimately served as Cargill's Foreign Exchange Trading Manager. During her 15-year career at Cargill, Ms Haugerud developed expertise in a broad and diverse range of securities by assuming the positions of Manager of teh US Fixed Income trading desk, Minneapolis, MN; Financial Division Manager of teh Melbourne Autralia Office; board membership of Cargill Australia; and finally Vice President/Structural Trading Manager at Cargill's corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. Following her years at Cargill, Ms Haugerud served as the Financial Trading Manager at Hunter Douglas, NA, New York. She also spent two years in Hong Kong with Natwest Markets Asian headquarters as the Head of Proprietary Trading for their Global Financial Markets. Ms Haugerud's insight into how global markets are affected by the psychology and relationships of macroeconomics trends, makes her a sought after speaker and panelist at global investment events. Ms Haugerud has been interviewed on CNBC, CNN and the PBS Nightly Business Report, and has also been profiled in Barron's, Forbes Magazine, eFinancial News and MAR Futures. Ms Haugerud received her B.S degree with Honors in Forest Resource Management from the University of Montana in 1980. She is active in the community of women and business leaders, a founding member of the Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Project, and an active advocate for numerous global health initiatives.

Kevin M. Heerdt, joined Campbell & Company in March 2003 and has served as Chief Investment Officer and Director of Research since July 2007, was Executive Vice President-Research from March 2003 to June 2007 and Chief Operating Officer from June 2005 to June 2007. His duties include risk management, research, and the development of quantitatively based hedge fund and options strategies. Mr. Heerdt is also the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of both Campbell & Company Investment Adviser LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Campbell & Company, and The Campbell Multi-Strategy Trust, a registered investment company. From February 2002 to March 2003, he was the sole proprietor of Integrity Consulting, a start-up business consulting firm. From December 1990 to February 2002, Mr. Heerdt worked for Moore Capital Management, Inc., and affiliates, a private investment management firm, where he was a Director and a Managing Director. Mr. Heerdt holds a B.A. in Economics and in International Relations from the University of Southern California. Mr. Heerdt became registered as an Associated Person and listed as a Principal of Campbell & Company effective April 15, 2003. Mr. Heerdt became registered as an Associated Person and listed as a Principal of Campbell & Company Investment Adviser LLC effective December 14, 2005 and December 12, 2005, respectively.

Frederic Hervouet is Managing Director, Head of Commodity Investor Derivatives Asia Sales & Marketing at BNP Paribas, covering all investment solutions for Commodities in Asia, based in Singapore. Born in France, he started his career in 1996 at Banque Indosuez on the Treasury Desk, specializing on swaps. He then joined Barep Asset Management, hedge fund arm of Société Générale and was based from 1997 to 1998 in Singapore, heading the South-East Asian Markets as a senior marketer. Fred returned to Paris in 1999 to head the European Markets distribution for Barep Asset management when the hedge fund firm grew up to EUR5.5 Billion as assets under management. In 2001, Fred participated in the launch of Systeia C.M., the hedge fund investment arm of Credit Agricole Group in Paris as a partner, covering European, South East Asian and Middle Eastern clients and stayed until the end of 2005 with up to USD1.4 Billion AUM. End of 2005, Fred was appointed as Global head of sales at Diapason Commodities Management, company launched in 2004 by Jim Rogers. He is a graduate from University Paris Dauphine in France from DESS203, equivalent MBA, Major in Financial, Commodity Markets, and Corporate Finance. He is a member of the AIMA (Alternative Investment management Association).

Frank Holle co-founded Quant Asset Management in 2003, and founded Capital Fund Management in 2001. From 1992 until 1998, Frank worked at Merrill Lynch in London, as a director at the International Equities Department. He joined ABN AMRO Bank in 1989, where he was trained and worked in the international investment banking division. He began his career as an academic researcher at the corporate law department at the University of Utrecht. Frank graduated from the University of Utrecht with a Masters degree in Business Law.

Mr. Ibrahim is the Founder and Managing Principal of 3 Degrees Asset Management Pte Ltd. He is the portfolio manager of The Asian Debt Fund and oversees all of the firm’s activities in distressed debt. Prior to founding 3 Degrees, Mr. Ibrahim spent seven years at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, where he founded Lazard’s Asian distressed debt business and was a senior member of the Lazard Debt Recovery Fund, a global distressed debt fund. Mr. Ibrahim has transacted over US$8 billion face amount of distressed debt in Asia spanning the past decade with over 100 counter-parties globally. He has many years of experience analyzing and investing in the debt of distressed companies, and specializes in the operational and financial turnaround of troubled companies. Mr. Ibrahim is on the Board of several of the firm’s portfolio companies: Bintan Lagoon Resort, Indonesia, Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort, Thailand and Senbel Fine Chemicals, Philippines. Mr. Ibrahim holds a B.S. in Biology from Siena College. A United States Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident, Mr. Ibrahim presently resides in Singapore.
