Entries for the Hedge Funds World Africa Awards will be open second quarter of the year and all industry players are welcome to participate. Entries close in October.
The awards entries will be judged by our official judging firm – Ernst & Young (EY).
EY will determine their decision purely on the basis of the submission of performance results submitted by entrants/nominees.
Judging Process
Terrapinn will collect all relevant information submitted by entrants/nominees based on each criteria. By submitting the data to Terrapinn, each nominee/entrant, confirms that all information submitted and criteria met are true. The information will be submitted to EY. EY will calculate the sharpe ratio and to finalise the winner of each category based on the information given to them by Terrapinn. There will be up to three/four finalists and one winner in each category.
Finalists will be notified in October 2008 and invited to the Hedge Funds World Awards Africa - Charity Benefit & Awards Gala Dinner.
Winner will only be announced on the night of Hedge Funds World Awards Africa - Charity Benefit & Awards Gala Dinner.
In the event of a tie for first place, each company/fund manager will be asked to submit additional information to be re-assessed by EY to identify the winner..
