Happiness 2007 DVD
All the excitement of the 2nd Annual Happiness & Its Causes Conference is now available on DVD. 

We captured over 10 hours of footage from the conference and compiled it into a 4-disc set of DVDs. All of the speakers and all of the panel discussions from the 2-day conference are included.

Gala Dinner

Enjoy a wonderful evening of fun and networking with conference delegates at the Gala Dinner. Affording panoramic views of Cockle Bay Wharf and Darling Harbour, Dockside boasts one of Sydney's most dazzling locations. The evening will include a gourmet vegetarian three-course meal, music and dancing overlooking Darling Harbour and inspirational dinner speaker, Matthieu Ricard, Monk, scientist, translator and  author Happiness: a guide to developing life’s most important skill,  Karuna-Shechen Monastery, Nepal.

 

Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Park

Pre-dinner music will be served up by iconic Sydney singer/songwriter Bernie Hayes. Bernie draws from a catalogue of original compositions and covers spanning 25 years of popular music from the Bee Gees to the Whitlams and everything in between. A delicious selection of hot & cold vegetarian canapes will be served on the balcony overlooking Darling Harbour upon arrival.

 

Evening entertainment will be provided by Johnny G And The E Types are Sydney’s premier soul show, performing the legendary soul hits of Booker T and MGs, Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Wilson Picket, Eddie Floyd, Al Green and more. The band will perform original soul film footage behind them and will DJ rare and classic soul, funk and reggae hits between sets. 
 
 
All profits will be in aid of the activities of Matthieu Ricard’s Karuna-Shechen Humanitarian Projects in Tibet, Nepal and India. Since 2001 more than 30 humanitarian projects have provided desperately needed services such as schools health, clinics, bridges and other essential infrastructure to underprivileged communities in the Himalayan region.
 
 
The 2007 Gala Dinner sold out quickly so book now to avoid disappointment. Friends and partners are welcome. All profits will be in aide of the activities of Karuna-Shechen Projects which since 2001 has initiated more than 30 humanitarian projects since 2001, providing desperately needed services to underprivileged communities in Nepal, Tibet, India, and Bhutan.
