industry firms in over 30 countries. He also acts as a consultant
in the development of generic pharmaceuticals, specialising in
patent strategy. Leighton has extensive experience in patent
searching and information management, starting off as a
professional patent searcher with RWS. He then moved into
generic pharma IP, taking a position at IVAX Pharmaceuticals
(UK) where he was responsible for meeting the patent
information needs for the global generic development portfolio.
