Joaquim Agut serves as Managing Director of Cirsa Group and in the BOD of Laboratorios Uriach (pharmaceutical sector) & Copcisa (construction sector). Between January 2004 & June 2006, Joaquim was Chairman & CEO of Endemol, B.V., a leader in the TV production business & listed at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange since November 2005. Prior to his appointment, in September 2000, Agut was Executive Chairman of Terra Lycos and responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to joining Terra, Agut was leader of the European Corporate Executive Council (CEC) of General Electric (GE) and was the first executive of General Electric in Europe. At General Electric, Agut previously held the roles of vice president and general manager of Marketing and Sales, president and CEO of GE Power Controls, and GE national executive for Spain and Portugal and chairman of the Pan European GE Quality Council.

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Eduardo graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in 1969, where he then staged as a part time Associate Professor from 1971 to 1976. His professional career started in the road traffic control industry. In 1979 he joined AMP Inc., Harrisburg, PA, now Tyco Electronics, where he worked in the Engineering and Marketing areas. Eduardo joined CIRSA in December 1990 to head its Manufacturing Division. In 1998 he was appointed Director of Corporate Development with the aim of expanding the holding international operations. The same year he was elected President of FACOMARE, the Spanish Manufacturers Association. Since May 1999 he is also President of EUROMAT, European Federation of Coin Machine Associations, based in Brussels.

Mr. Arnold is a successful executive with 24 years of experience in entrepreneurial software ventures. In 1981 he founded Datalogix International and served as its CEO for 10 years. Datalogix, the first company to offer MRP and ERP software to the process manufacturing industry, went public on the NASDAQ and was later acquired by Oracle. Mr. Arnold also co-founded Formation Systems, Inc., a leader in the Product Lifecycle Management space and served as its CEO.

Peter W. De Raedt became the president of the Gaming Standards Association in October 2002. Peter has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, cum laude, as well as a Business Management diploma from South Africa. He started in the gaming industry in 1986 for TCS. As Systems Manager / General Manager, Mr. De Raedt has been running the Systems division for TCS (UK) from Belgium. Peter joined Aristocrat in Sydney in 1997. As VP of Technology he was responsible for establishing the new R&D center in Tucson Arizona. In 2001 Peter took up the position as Corporate VP of Product Development and IP for the MIS Group of Monaco and at the same time he resigned as Chairman of the Board of the Gaming Standards Association, GSA (formerly known as GAMMA). He served as their chairman since GSA’s inception in May 1998. Peter is also active on the UNLV school of informatics advisory board, the editorial advisory board of CEM publication and is majority shareholder in the startup company Streamline Innovations.

Laurie began his career in 1977 as an Account Executive for W.E. Found and Company. In 1979 he joined Alexander Howden Insurance Brokers where he was a team leader for the North American and International Divisions. He joined Willis Faber and Dumas in 1986 to work in the North American Division as a Team Leader. In 1989 he was made an Executive Director in the North American Property and Energy section of Global Broking Services. Laurie is now responsible for the development, sales planning, production and the management of hospitality business providing a resource to the Global Markets business units, UK associates as well as retail offices world-wide from his base in Global Sales and Marketing. Laurie has been involved with the Gaming and Hospitality industry since 1994, working with many USA based CFO’s, Corporate Counsels as well as Risk Managers. He is a speaker at industry trade meetings like IAGA, G2E as well as insurance industry meetings such as RIMS. Laurie was nominated in 2007 and 2008 as a Power Broker in the Gaming category by Risk and Insurance magazine. For professional qualifications Laurie holds a C.P.C.U. designation. He also acts as a Consultant to the U.K. Chartered Insurance Institute on USA insurance issues. Laurie has been elected to the moderation panel at the CII; he also sits on the education committee for the European Chapter of CPCU. Malcolm is the CEO of PKR.com, a company which has developed a uniquely customizable 3D online poker software. The company was founded by Jez San, who was the creative force behind Argonaut Games, one of the UKs most successful games developers. PKR launched in August 2006 based in Alderney, the premier online gaming regulatory environment. Previously, Malcolm was the Managing Director of The Ritz Club London Online, operating an online casino and poker room under The Ritz brand. He was also a Director of The Ritz Club, the land based casino located in the Ritz Hotel. Malcolm was responsible for all aspects of The Ritz Club’s online gaming operations including the following: Negotiating contracts with all suppliers, Overseeing all marketing activities, Co-ordinating all customer care and retention activities, Managing The Ritz’s move from Curacao to Alderney, Full P&L responsibility, selecting and negotiating potential marketing and technology partnerships. Malcolm was Chairman of the Alderney Gaming Licensees Forum and Treasurer of the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association in 2003. Prior to Malcolm’s role at The Ritz Club Online he worked for one of the UKs leading internet investment vehicles called the Antfactory. He was responsible for their £2 m investment in Whittards of Chelsea. Prior to the Antfactory, Malcolm was a management consultant with Mercer Management Consulting where he specialized in the telecommunications and internet industries. Malcolm has a BA from Southampton University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Simon is the Director of Business Development at Sportingbet where he is responsible for new strategic global initiatives within the group, encompassing the development of new products and strategic organic development in new markets. Simon has been involved with the online gaming industry for seven years, initially as an investment banker, advising Sportingbet on its Initial Public Offering in January 2001, and their numerous transactions and fundraising since their IPO Simon joined Sportingbet's senior management team in 2005. Tom Hall is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in the field of interactive gaming, specialising in the Asia Pacific Region. A regular key note speaker at Gaming Conferences and Investor Forums around the World, he is Executive Vice Chairman of Asianlogic, listed on the UK stock exchange (UK:ALOG), one of Asia’s leading online gaming operators and solution providers. He is also Playtech’s Asian Development Director and former CEO. Playtech are the world’s largest publicly quoted gaming software provider (UK:PTEC). Of Eurasian Hong Kong origin, Tom has been responsible for overseeing Playtech’s global customer growth and the development of customised software solutions for the Asian marketplace. In his role with Playtech he has had considerable dealings with gaming operators in both the land based traditional environment and online sector. Tom also sits as a non executive director of a number of gaming and technology companies and his gaming experience covers online / land based casino gaming, poker and P2P games, sportsbetting, betting exchanges, lottery, bingo, keno, slot machine and server based gaming. Previously, Tom worked in private client wealth management in Hong Kong from 1989 until entering the gaming sector full time in 2002.

Nick Harding, aged 49, has been employed in the gaming and leisure industry his entire career. In 1996 he led a Management buyout of Rank Amusements Ltd from the Rank Group, backed by Aberdeen Murray Johnston and Banc Boston Capital. In July 2003 he led a secondary buyout of the Company backed by PPM ventures and HBOS. His career has included time with Coral, Bass and The Rank Group together with some smaller private organisations. Nick is experienced in the operation of cash bingo, gaming machines, coastal and theme park amusement facilities, bowling and multi leisure centres. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and is President of BACTA. In 2001 he was instrumental in the creation of iGGBA, (the interactive Gambling Gaming and Betting Association) and was its founder Chairman. He is currently a Trustee of the UK’s Responsibility in Gambling Trust, the RIGT . In May 2005 he successfully reversed RAL Holdings Ltd into Talarius plc, which listed at £1 per share and in January 2007, he sold Talarius to European Gaming Ltd for £2.80p per share.

Robert Haukoos, president of RJ Lauren, Inc. is an expert Business Development and Marketing Consultant with over 25 years experience RJ Lauren was one of the only U.S. media agencies that secured DOT-COM online casino and poker advertising in the NFL, NBA, NASCAR and the WORLD SERIES. Gigi Levy serves as the CEO of 888 Holdings (LSE: 888.L), one of the world’s leading online gaming entertainment companies in the world. Prior to his current role, Gigi worked for Amdocs, a world leading software provider and systems integrators for the Telecom market (NYSE: DOX), where his last position was Division President managing Amdocs’ activity in Europe (except Eastern Europe), Central and Latin America. Jaime Riera is Consultant Director of RIERA Y CARRERAS ASOCIADOS, S.L., a service company for amusement, entertainment and gaming. Jim Ryan joined PartyGaming in June 2008. He has more than 20 years of diverse senior management experience and business development roles within the high technology and internet gaming sectors. Prior to joining PartyGaming, he was Chief Executive Officer of St. Minver Limited, the provider of network operations and white label licensing services for the European on-line entertainment market. Before then, he held senior posts on two publicly listed companies as President and Chief Executive Officer of Excapsa Software Inc., a developer of interactive gaming solutions, and as Chief Financial Officer of CryptoLogic, Inc., the e-gaming software developer and supplier. His career also includes being Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Procuron, Inc., Chief Financial Officer of SXC Health Solutions Corp, Vice President of Business Development of Metcan Information Technologies Limited and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Epson Canada Limited. Educated at Brock University in Ontario, Canada, where he obtained a business degree with first class honours, Jim Ryan then obtained professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1985.

Her team has worked on most of the significant floats of the online industry in the last three years including Crytologic, NETeller, Gaming UC, Partygaming 888.com, Excapsa, Playtech and Leisure and Gaming. An audit and transaction specialist, Mark has worked mainly with companies in the media and leisure sectors. Mark currently heads KPMG’s Travel, Leisure and Tourism group in the UK in which capacity he is responsible for the delivery of all our services to companies in these sectors, including the development of our services to and relationships with companies in the gambling sectors. Mark currently leads our relationship with Ladbrokes, The Rank Group, Gala Coral and 888. His experience includes the provision of: audit and transaction services to The Rank Group; transaction services work for Ladbrokes; internal audit services for Gala Coral; and a three year forensic investigation in to the dispute between Brent Walker and Grand Met over the acquisition price for the William Hill betting shop chain. Recent special projects include work for Business In Sport and Leisure (‘BISL’) and The Gambling Commission. Mark is a member of BISL’s Gaming Working Group and a trustee of the hospitality charity Springboard . Mark has led or leads the audits of a number of UK listed companies, including The Management Consulting Group, Maiden, The Sanctuary Group and DataMonitor, and acted as the reporting accountant on both Orchestream and 2 Way Traffic’s IPOs on the London Stock Exchange main market and AIM respectively. Mark has also led transaction services teams on the acquisition and disposal of businesses for between £5 million and £2.7 billion.

Stephanos Theodorides is the CEO of Regency Entertainment SA since 2006. As such, Mr Theodorides leads the three business units of the group: Regency Casino Mont Parnes, Regency Casino Thessaloniki and Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki Hotel & Conference Resort. Regency Entertainment SA is wholly owned by BC Partners, a leading private equity firm in the world, which trusted Mr. Theodorides to maximize the value of this investment. Andrew joined Harrah's as Managing Director Development Europe at the beginning of 2006. As such he is responsible for Harrah’s expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this he ran Tottenham & Co which he grew into one of the most prestigious management consulting firms specialising in the international gaming industry. Clients included blue chip gaming operators and suppliers in all continents. The firm has also acted as advisers to the Government of Hungary. He has been called to testify as an expert on the impact of casino gambling at State Senate hearings and committees in New Mexico, New York, Arizona and Massachusetts. Andrew Tottenham started his career in casino operations in 1975.

Tjeerd Veenstra (1948) studied social sciences at the University of Nijmegen. He has practiced as psychotherapist as well as holding senior management posts in the health care sector. In 1989 he was appointed CEO of Cure & Care Development (CCD) and worked as consultant and interim manager in the Netherlands and Central Europe. Mr. Veenstra has been a director and member of the executive board of De Lotto since 1994. De Lotto is a State licensed lottery company and also sells lotto games, instant tickets and sports betting. Revenues go to the Dutch Olympic Committee and organizations in the field of health care, welfare and culture.

Thibault Verbiest is a founding partner of the Law Firm ULYS (www.ulys.net). He is a member of the Bars of Brussels and Paris, specialised in gaming and information society law. He is professor at the University of Paris I Sorbonne, former chairman of the federal agency Internet Rights Observatory, and General Member for France of “International Masters of Gaming Law”. Philippe Vlaemminck is the managing partner of Vlaemminck & Partners. He is a member of both the European & Trade Practise group and the International Business Practise group. He has considerable litigation experience in the EU and EFTA courts and was among the very first private lawyers who were allowed to appear in a WTO dispute settlement hearing at the Appellate Body . He has acted for Ecuador in its landmark WTO case regarding the EU banana regime and more specifically obtained for Ecuador the right to suspend temporarily the protection of EU owned intellectual property rights by way of sanction (retaliation) for the EU's continued non-implementation of the WTO decisions in the dispute over the importation of bananas. He represents individual corporations as well as European industry associations, and several EU governments in EU regulatory affairs before the EU Institutions including the European Commission and the European Parliament as well as in litigation before the European Court of First Instance and the European Court of Justice, and has also worked together with the US authorities, in particular USTR on trade matters.

Roger brings to GES his 30 years’ experience in the leisure and gaming sector. He held a number of senior positions in Ladbrokes, before joining Bass, where his roles included Managing Director Coral, and Executive Chairman Bass Leisure South Africa. He has also held several non-executive directorships including Chairman of Littlewoods Leisure, Arena Leisure, Sportech and FireOne.
