Tanja Hichert is a Scenario Planning practitioner and facilitator of
strategic conversations. She has 15 years of practical experience working for large corporations in the mining, oil and tobacco industries. She has specialised in strategy and futures work, and
facilitates “Futures Workshops” and “Risk Futures Workshops” for a wide range of industries including FMCG, media, insurance, beverage, entertainment and pharmaceuticals. She is now based in South Africa, and works internationally and locally in association with leading strategists and futurists, including the Institute of Futures Research of Stellenbosch University where she is a Research Associate and teaches an M.Phil course in Scenario Planning. Tanja is also a full member of, and accredited by, the Association of Professional
