About your masterclass leader:
Ariel Liebman is a Research Fellow at the Australian Research Council Centre for Complex System (ACCS), and the School of IT and Electrical Engineering (ITEE) of the University of Queensland. With 15 years of experience in both commercial and academic environments, Ariel possesses an in-depth
understanding of energy issues, and modelling techniques for energy markets. He has developed market risk management strategies and managed the rapid implementation of complex models for commercial use in essential services industries. Dr. Liebman has consulted to Goldman-Sachs, Duke Energy International and others. His current research focuses on emissions trading, low emissions generation project investment risks, electricity portfolio risk management and grid connected electric-hybrid vehicles.
