Masterclass A
“Driving continuous improvement through cards and payments outsourcing”- sponsored by EDS
How to review your processes – benchmark or be gone!
Declining profitability looms for Australia’s cards & payments industry, increasing pressure on margins. Adding to the complexities facing you is the ability to compete with overseas entrants with the latest capability in servicing. What are the key areas to focus on that can ensure your business remains on a continuous improvement strategy and how do you go about it? This Masterclass will guide you through the key functions that are constantly being re-invented and are the focus in global markets, as well as assist you with ‘the how”. Current overseas players are continually refining their business and investing in customer service, channel diversification, originations, fraud and collections – they are challenging the way they have always done things. Is your strategy supporting your continuous improvement as an organisation?
Agenda:
What are the global trends in process improvements?
A look at global trends, what are the areas of your business that will provide value creation – a function by function look at the layers that can be pulled and the areas that can be re-invented. In the era of multimillion card portfolios, even the slightest refinements can reap valuable benefits that improve both profitability and the customer experience.
How do you undertake an internal review?
The ability to look at a functional area of your business and find the value in policy, process, technology and the adoption of the emerging trends allows you to formulate a strategy that doesn’t just focus on your customer in driving value. What efficiencies and advances can you take advantage of to achieve more than you do today?
Building a benchmark capability
The range of practices that Issuers and Acquirers can benchmark are virtually endless. A capability to constantly benchmark your internal practices will result in the ability to focus on overlooked areas of the enterprise which will result in hidden value. What are the tools, the processes and the framework to integrate your business end to end?
