Craig Nalder is currently employed as Head of Trading for NewGen Power, a position he has held since June 2005. NewGen Power is a joint venture between Australian listed investment bank Babcock and Brown and the ERM Group. He is currently responsible for the development and oversight of the company’s spot electricity, gas, environmental and proprietary trading strategies. Olli Virta is the person behind the most talked about SGDS$1.2 billion biggest biodiesel plant in the world which will soon be set up in Singapore. The plant will have a design capacity of 800,000 t/a, making it the largest facility producing diesel fuel from renewable feedstocks anywhere. He has over 30 years of experience in the oil refinery business. Currently the President of Neste Oil in Singapore, he is responsible of ensuring the operation and sustainability of this plant. He was formerly the Vice President for Manufacturing and Chief Refining Officer of AB Nynas Petroleum and Managing Director of Nynas Refining AB. He was also the former General Manager of Naantali Refinery, Mr. Virta has several years of experience in the global refinery business.

Ziyuan Wang is CDM Project Manager at Shell Trading [Environmental Product Trading Business]. She is responsible for the sourcing and managing of both internal and external CDM projects. Her professional experience covers the whole CDM process from project identification to issuance of CERs. Ziyuan was closely involved in the project that had the first CER’s ever issued in China.

Mr. Qi, Wenjie is a Senior Engineer in the major of Project Management and has been the director of the Management Office for World Bank Financed Project (PMO) in Tianjin for about 10 years. His extensive background in urban infrastructure planning and management includes plan and design of infrastructure, budget management, project monitoring, organization reforming for the management of public utility sectors and the forecasting of urban infrastructure demands.

He has been developing a series of activities of enlightened CDM and leading Shan Xi Province to the most active area in the national CDM activity.

Senator Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri, is a veteran legislator. He served the 3rd District of Bukidnon for nine years since the 11th Congress in 1998. Today, he looks forward to serving his countrymen in the Senate. Living as a true-blue environmentalist, he founded the Philippine Deer Foundation, a deer conservation project. He is also the Executive Director of the Palawan-based Katala Foundation which protects the Philippine cockatoo and its habitat. Hosting the weekly show Team Explorer over ABS-CBN, Migz learned the true state of our environment first-hand.
