Director of Sales & Relationship Management,
SITA
Maneesh Jaikrishna was appointed Director of Sales & Relationship Management, South Asia and India in the recently amalgamated single SITA organizational set-up effected in mid-2006.
Amidst severe pressure onto airlines on cost cutting, Maneesh has been instrumental in putting into action SITA’s philosophy of proactively engaging with all our Airline members in his region to work out the best technical solutions based on utilization patterns and to look at every possible way in which to reduce their total cost of ownership of communications to the absolute minimum while simultaneously ensuring technological upgradation. As one of his several recent areas of focus, he remains committed to working closely with the Indian Govt. i.e. Ministries of Civil Aviation and Home Affairs to introduce the mandatory compliance of the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) and then its transformation into Interactive APIS or Advance Passenger Processing (APP) Systems on the lines of SITA’s implementation of such Border Management Solutions in Australia, Canada, Newzealand, Bahrain, Kuwait etc.
Earlier as part of SITA Information Networking Computing (SITA INC), September 2003 onwards, Maneesh headed the responsibility for sales and marketing in South Asia region. In this key capacity, he was responsible for SITA’s overall commercial operations and driving growth and profitability for all SITA INC products and services in South Asia, which was a part of SITA INC’s Middle East, Africa, South and Central Asia (MEASCA) region.
