Captain Hassan Al-Mousawi, a Qatari National joined Jet Airways in Jan 2008 as Vice President Operations Safety and Quality. He holds a Master of Aeronautical Science Degree plus two BSc degrees in Computer Science with Aviation Applications and Professional Aeronautics all with distinction from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, USA. Capt. Al-Mousawi started his aviation career in 1981 when he graduated from Civil Aviation College in Qatar as an Air Traffic Controller; he worked at Doha International Airport till 1984. He was awarded a scholarship to study in USA 1984-1990. On his return to Qatar he worked in the Civil Aviation Department on various projects and his last position was Head of Air Safety and Air Navigation. He joined Gulf Air in 1994 as a professional pilot and later became Manager Flight Safety at Gulf Air where he held the position till August 2007. Capt Al-Mousawi has accumulated more than 7000 flying hours on the Airbus A320 and A340 aircraft.

Frans Bouterse is Head of Airport Planning for Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL), the organisation that won the concession to operate, manage and develop the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India. Since 2005, Frans worked intensively on the US$ 2 billion development program for the Mumbai airport. First involved as consulting Airport Planner with NACO, he continued his involvement as Head of Airport Planning for MIAL. He is responsible for the Master Plan that provides the road map for the complete reconstruction and modernisation of the congested Mumbai Airport.
Frans Bouterse has a rich and diversified experience in airport planning and design at airport development projects worldwide. Prior to his involvement in Mumbai, Frans worked extensively on projects in South Africa, China (Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen), Malaysia, Italy and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in The Netherlands.

Mr. Ellerbrock has been employed with Jeppesen since 1979. In his current role, Rick is responsible for strategic planning and special projects, and providing direction for Jeppesen Navigation and Operations broad-based solutions. Mr. Ellerbrock has been directly involved in the Jeppesen Electronic Flight Bag Program, including design and development of electronic navigation charting solutions for Enroute moving map, approach charts, and airport moving maps. As part of Jeppesen’s growth to the future of integrated electronic solutions, Rick regularly participates in activities with customers, industry groups, and regulatory authorities.
Mr. Ellerbrock received his Bachelor of Arts in Management from the University of Phoenix and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Denver University. Mr. Ellerbrock began his career in the charting group at Jeppesen and has over 20 years experience with many aspects of charting, business systems, and technology development.

Greg Gernhardt is Pratt & Whitney vice president of Commercial Engines & Services for the Asia/Pacific region. In this role, Gernhardt is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing integrated engine and aftermarket strategies for Pratt & Whitney in the region. Gernhardt promotes Pratt & Whitney products and services for Commercial Engines, Global Service Partners, and Global Material Solutions, and identifies emerging market opportunities for the Next Generation Product Family and scalable-core Geared Turbofan™ engine.
Gernhardt joined Pratt & Whitney in 1990 and has held a number of engineering, program management, operations, and customer service roles of increasing responsibility including a leadership role at Pratt & Whitney’s joint venture International Aero Engines (IAE). At IAE, Gernhardt was vice president, Operations and Programs, where he successfully led the organization to its highest production rate for the V2500 and executed the industrial integration plan for the recently certified SelectOne engine.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University. He lives in
Old Saybrook, Conn., with his wife, son, and daughter.

With nearly 20 years in the transport and travel industry, David brings a wealth of experience to airlines and the
companies that serve them.
He was one of the three original officers at the founding of Virgin Blue, holding executive management positions including Head of Commercial and Head of Strategy & Communication during its period of high growth from its formation in 1999 to 2005. He also led the airline's search for new commercial opportunities in Asia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Prior to his tenure at Virgin Blue, David served as Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing for Virgin Express, the Brussels based European LCC of the Virgin Group. He also has extensive experience in the fuel industry and was a former US licensed travel agent.
Today, David consults for a number of airlines and airports in both emerging and established markets. In 2006-07, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Vueling, an LCC based in Barcelona, Spain.
He holds a BA of International Relations from Brown University in the United States and an MBA from INSEAD in France. Originally from the US state of Colorado, David has lived in eight countries and traveled in nearly 100 others.

Maneesh Jaikrishna was appointed Director of Sales & Relationship Management, South Asia and India in the recently amalgamated single SITA organizational set-up effected in mid-2006.
Amidst severe pressure onto airlines on cost cutting, Maneesh has been instrumental in putting into action SITA’s philosophy of proactively engaging with all our Airline members in his region to work out the best technical solutions based on utilization patterns and to look at every possible way in which to reduce their total cost of ownership of communications to the absolute minimum while simultaneously ensuring technological upgradation. As one of his several recent areas of focus, he remains committed to working closely with the Indian Govt. i.e. Ministries of Civil Aviation and Home Affairs to introduce the mandatory compliance of the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) and then its transformation into Interactive APIS or Advance Passenger Processing (APP) Systems on the lines of SITA’s implementation of such Border Management Solutions in Australia, Canada, Newzealand, Bahrain, Kuwait etc.
Earlier as part of SITA Information Networking Computing (SITA INC), September 2003 onwards, Maneesh headed the responsibility for sales and marketing in South Asia region. In this key capacity, he was responsible for SITA’s overall commercial operations and driving growth and profitability for all SITA INC products and services in South Asia, which was a part of SITA INC’s Middle East, Africa, South and Central Asia (MEASCA) region.

Prior to Google, Narasimha was Account Director EMEA and ran the B2B client portfolio for the distribution business of Expedia Inc., based out of London. He started his career with the Tata Group and was part of the Tata Administrative Services. Narasimha holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India.

At Kingfisher airlines he has completed the Project to migrate to the World class Sabre Reservation system. He is currently, successfully managing a complex network of over 100 nodes across the Kingfisher Airlines enterprise, with stringent applications response time requirements. He has also implemented SAP system as the core financial ERP for Kingfisher. Currently Mr. Nene is working on the Project for Migration of the Reservation system for Newly acquired Carrier, M/S Deccan aviation in India, from its current Radixx system to Sabre system. He is also completing the complete IT integration of Deccan into the Kingfisher IT environment.

Ramki Sundaram graduated from the coveted Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Chennai and went on to do his Masters in Business Administration from XLRI Jamshedpur. Following which he chose a career in Investment banking, and spent over 10 years as an investment banker in the aviation domain. A large part of his career was involved in handling international assignments. During his international stints he developed strong relationships both with several Indian and international banks that regularly participate in Indian issues. He served as Director in ANZ Investment Bank‘s Leasing and Asset Finance Team (LSAF) and was responsible for originating: structuring and executing key transactions for the Bank.
His vast and varied assignments notably include spearheading the aviation business for Investec Bank (UK) Ltd and giving wings to the Bank’s enter India strategy. He has played a crucial role in establishing the Bank as the leading aviation structured finance house operating out of India. Over the years he has structured and executed various financial transactions to capitalize on the growing Indian aviation sector with the objective of achieving substantial growth in revenues .Following a successful stint with Investec Bank, he joined Deccan, India’s first low cost airline as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in February 2007. In June 2007 following Deccan’s tie up with The UB Group owned Kingfisher Airlines which has created the largest airline combine in Indian aviation, he was appointed officiating CEO of Deccan.

Giovanni Tramparulo is a graduate cum laude in Economics from University of Naples – Focoltà di Economia e Commercio – and went for further studies in the field of business at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d’ Administration in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He started his career in the aeronautical industry in 1985 in the Treasury Department of Aeritalia in Naples where he became responsible for the management of foreign currency exposure. Giovanni subsequently moved to the Headquarters of Alenia Rome, heading Export finance and Special Projects covering both military and civil aircraft worldwide for all divisions.
He moved to Sales Financing at ATR in 1992 where he took on this activity for number of airlines in Europe and the USA. He was promoted to haed the Sales Finance Department of ATR in 1997 and subsequently added Credit Management and Risk Management to his portfolio of responsibilities.
Giovanni is also a lecturer in Finance and Aircraft Financing at the Faculty of Aeronautics – University of Rome that created a few years ago a Masters degree course in Air Transport designed for engineers working in the aviation industry.
In June 2007, Giovanni Tramparulo was appointed Senior Vice President Finance & CEO of ATR. Born in 1959, He is married with 2 children, and lives in Toulouse, France.

Mr. A Viswanath is an Electrical Engineer from REC, Rourkela and was responsible in commissioning 500 MW Coal Fired Thermal Generating Station for NTPC. He was instrumental in establishment of 1000 MW Simhadri Power Project at Visakhapatnam. He was also involved in planning and co-ordination of Liquid Fuel based Combined Cycle Power Project in Kaymakulam, Kerala.
On the international front, he was involved in power reforms in Nigeria and was a team member in GMR for winning an airport project in Istanbul, Turkey.
Mr. A Viswanath is currently Chief Commercial Officer in GMR Hyderabad International Airport. Before joining GMR he worked for KPMG and NTPC. In his present assignment, he is involved in Business Development, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Planning & Regulatory Affairs.

Mr. von Lueders is a native of Finland but he has spent most of his grown up life abroad. He started his airline career with Finnair in Helsinki for more than 40 years ago. It did not take long before he left Finland for a long career path in various countries including Sweden, Denmark, Austria, the U.S.A and Canada.
His assignments consisted mostly of General Manager positions in several Divisions and Regions covering a number of countries and markets. He returned to his hometown Helsinki year 2000 as a Vice President Alliances and International relations to lead Finnair’s involvement in the oneworld Alliance and other commercial partnerships.
Early year 2001 Mr. von Lueders left Finnair in order to accept an appointment as the Vice President Sales for the oneworld Alliance Global Sales Initiative. Mr. von Lueders and his alliance sales team created a strong alliance based joint sales model that brought incremental value to all member airlines.
In the end of year 2003 Mr. von Lueders was invited to become the President and CEO for a new Swedish low cost airline called FlyNordic. He and the FlyNordic team created a highly successful value based airline that radically changed the Swedish aviation market and made affordable air transportation available for everybody.
A similar success story will now be repeated within JetLite in order to bring JetLite to a new level of excellence and bring value-based air travel to the doorsteps of to the travelling Indian population including families, companies, associations and institutions.
Mr. von Lueders holds an MBA from Herriot-Watt University. He is married and he has two grown up sons living in different parts of the world. A mobile life style has turned him and his whole family into global nomads that appreciate the beauty and versatility of a mixture of cultures.
