2006 event analysis
- The first ever European Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress was a great success attracting 126 participants with eight sponsors and exhibitors. Of the 126 participants, 42% attended from biotech companies and 41% from research and academic institutes.
- 14 different countries around the world were represented. But the event did keep it’s European focus, with 85% of participants coming from Europe, 14% from North America and 1% from the Rest of the World.
- The marketing campaign was targeted and extensive. Sponsors and exhibitors enjoyed unrivalled branding and marketing exposure to their target audience. In fact 100% of sponsors and exhibitors said their expectations were met or exceeded in terms of marketing.
- Furthermore, feedback forms indicate that 97% of people found the service on site and account management either met or exceeded their expectations.
- For 2007 we will continue to focus on the best content and speakers, always striving to go-one-better.
- We will stay in London again for 2007, as the UK is central to cutting edge developments in this field. The location also proved to be a great success.
- We will continue to investigate new networking ideas such as ‘Contact’ and ‘Speed Networking’ both of which have been hugely successful and ensure sponsors and exhibitors get maximum returns on their investment. We will also look to improve upon ‘Speaker Panels’ for 2007 and introduce ‘Speaker Roundtables’ and ‘Streams’ to ensure that the congress content remains as diverse and as interactive as possible.
Suggestion for improvement from you
“The conference covered through its broad speaker list leading representatives from government, academic research, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. I hope that next year we will also see new faces from investment funds, venture capital and broker analysts actively participating too”
“Enjoyable and interesting two days, possible 2nd speed networking opportunity”
“Panel discussions and Q&A”
Thank you
