Asia Pacific Manufacturing Supply Chain Excellence Awards
The Manufacturing Supply Chain Excellence Awards recognizes manufacturers across 6 industries in Asia Pacific namely, Automotive, Hi-Tech, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, FMCG and Retail/F&B, and for their achievements in driving supply chain excellence. One company from each highlighted industry in Asia Pacific will be selected to receive the award.
When nominating a company, criteria to consider are:
· Management leadership in driving supply chain excellence throughout the organization
· Supply chain strategies in achieving and aligning with corporate objectives
· Achievements in enhancing bottom-line, maximizing customer satisfaction, reducing cost, increasing market share and gaining leadership position
· Measurable components of implementation for business processes along the supply chain through outcomes (stock turns, availability, etc), enablers (S&O Planning) and IT infrastructure (supporting investments)
· Successful collaboration strategy with suppliers and partners
· Transformation change management
Best Aftermarket Service Excellence Award
This Award recognizes a manufacturer in Asia Pacific for its excellence in managing aftermarket customer service and support - not restricted to any vertical. Companies will be judged on the following criteria:
· Management leadership in driving reverse logistics excellence throughout the organization
· Reverse logistics strategies in achieving and aligning with corporate objectives
· Achievements in enhancing bottom-line, maximizing customer satisfaction, reducing cost, increasing market share and gaining leadership position through its Aftermarket Service Strategy
· Ease of access to returns/complaints department
· Service level
· Response time to customer
· Successful collaboration strategy with suppliers and partners
Most Outstanding Woman in Supply Chain Award
In a male-dominated industry, it is time to reward the most outstanding female supply chain executive in Asia Pacific! This Award recognizes the woman who stood out, who made a significant contribution to achieving excellence in the supply chain strategy of the company, in terms of costs savings or increased efficiency. She must have broad and deep knowledge about the industry and is forward-thinking in her approach to the evolving supply chain issues and challenges.
· Individual contribution to the company in driving supply chain initiatives that result in developing a more responsive and efficient supply chain
· Leadership role in supply chain management and people development within the business teams
· Demonstrated organizational change through her role

This individual has broad and deep knowledge about the industry and is forward-thinking in their approach to the evolving supply chain issues and challenges.

· Leadership role in supply chain management and people development within the business teams
· Demonstrated organizational change through individual’s role

Asia Pacific 3PL Award
This award serves to recognise a leading logistics service provider in Asia Pacific that has achieved significant success in increasing service levels and supply chain visibility, and reducing costs, leads time and time to market for its customers. This company must demonstrate a full end-to-end suite of solutions to customers, and not be confined within providing single nodes of solutions. The service provider must also demonstrate outstanding thought leadership in spearheading logistics innovations and raising the bar of supply chain management standards in Asia Pacific.
This category should be nominated by customers who can demonstrate the value of what the nominee has achieved. Companies will be judged on the following criteria:
· Provide full suite of integrated logistics services to customers
· Provide consulting services serving the best interest of customers
· Market size, geographical reach, turnover and revenue over the last 5 years
· Capabilities to provide intra logistics services
· Clientele profile
· Thought leadership in logistics and supply chain management
· Successes in implementing new initiatives
· Track records in assisting customers in cutting logistics cost and shaping a more integrated supply chain
Asia Pacific Container Terminal/Port Excellence Award
This award recognises the best container terminal in Asia Pacific for demonstrating high-level of service, operation standard and productivity. Companies will be judged on the following criteria:
· Service level
· Cost and value for money
· Meeting customer requirements
· Technology adoption and implementation
· Cargo handling efficiency and effectiveness
· Container handling capacity and on-site facilities
· Safety and quality management
· Ease of access
· Liner turn-around time
Best Asia Pacific Supply Chain Solution Provider Award
The award recognizes the best solution provider in Asia Pacific which provides technological solutions within the supply chain realm. This is not restricted to a full suite of supply chain solutions, and companies may provide specialized warehousing, inventory, transportation solutions or others to be eligible for this Award. Companies will be judged on the following criteria:
· Provide full suite or individual components of supply chain technology
· Market size, geographical reach, turnover and revenue over the last 5 years
· Functionality, performance and ease of use of solutions
· Supporting professional services to license sales
· Clientele profile
· Ease of use and performance of information technology as measured by customers
· New market initiatives and innovations
Best SCMLogistics Speaker Award
This category will award the best presenter at SCMLogistics World 2007. And the winner will be selected by delegates attending the event. Key criteria for evaluation will include content and presentation skill
