Mr Neil B. Bane, Director, The Carlton Group
Neil B. Bane is a Director of Carlton Advisory Services, Inc. Neil has over 18 years of combined real estate, structured finance, and private and institutional equity raising and placement experience. Mr. Bane has completed over $2.5 Billion of debt, equity and advisory transactions for many of the real estate, hospitality and development industry’s leading companies and investors. These transactions have included properties and companies located in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Bane’s responsibilities at Carlton include: originating, structuring and closing of complex debt and equity transactions; structuring and raising of private and institutional equity for opportunity funds, international and domestic institutional investors and private investors and developers for specific portfolio and property specific transactions; domestic and international investment sale advisory; as well as, performing and non-performing loan sale transactions. Neil is focused on expanding Carlton’s office, retail, condominium, hotel, industrial and multifamily finance and advisory business nationwide and into international markets with a strong focus on Canada, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Europe.
Prior to joining Carlton, Neil was involved in over $1 Billion of Conduit and Agency financing transactions through his various senior origination and underwriting positions while at ARCS Commercial Mortgage, LLC, and PW Funding, Inc. two leading Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Mortgage Banking firms, as well as, Citicorp Securities and Lehman Brothers, two leading conduit lenders. Neil has extensive experience in all facets of real estate including: business origination and client development, complex loan and equity structuring, underwriting, due diligence, investment and property analytics and document and loan negotiations. Mr. Bane holds an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, a M.S. degree in Real Estate Valuation from New York University (Graduated with Distinction) and a BA from Yeshiva University. Neil is a licensed real estate broker in New York and Massachusetts. Neil is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Cornell Real Estate Council.
In addition, he is currently finalizing a significant Joint Venture Equity deal for a portfolio of multi-family rental properties in Berlin and a second portfolio in London. We have also just begun our efforts for raising the debt and equity for a number of hotel, multi-family rental properties and condominium and condo-hotel financings in Dublin, San Paolo, Brazil, Acapulco, Mexico, New York City, Baltimore/DC market, Kiev and Warsaw and other eastern European countries.

The United Forces Group is a giant civilian run enterprise, which comprehensively specializes in real estate development, industrial manufacture, financing and insurance. Mr. Brooke is the Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis in China, taking overall responsibility for the operations of CB Richard Ellis in China from offices within Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. He is based in Beijing and manages the day to day operations of the Beijing office. Mr. Brooke is also responsible for the CBRE Consulting business line throughout Asia, involving the overall co-ordination of all assignments undertaken by teams within the CBRE Consulting business line situated in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Taipei.
Mr. Brooke is a Chartered Surveyor with over fifteen years of experience in various fields of the property industry. Since 1992 he has been providing advice in relation to development projects in Hong Kong, China and the Asia Pacific region and has participated within assignments associated with market research, feasibility studies, land premium negotiations, development projects and joint venture agreements. He has been responsible for the provision of advice regarding property development, investment, and financial viability issues to a wide range of corporations, landowners and developers. This has included advice relating to market demand, market positioning, development content and implementation strategies.

Mr Brian Castle, Executive Vice President and COO, C2 Group
Brian Castle is currently responsible for the creation of the new C2 Group in China. With over 30 years in the real estate business, 15 of them in the retail sector Brian will oversee the C2 Group, a new retail property services company, which will provide international standards of retail services to global investors and local developers. The new company will provide a wide range of specialized retail leasing, management and development services to the shopping centre industry. A joint venture of the Chia Tai Group, one of China’s largest international investors and Ivanhoe Cambridge, a pre-eminent Canada based owner, manager and developer of shopping centres around the world.

Mr Wang Kin Chan, CEO, Cambridge REIT
Chan Wang Kin is the founder and Managing Director, Strategy of Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Limited which listed an industrial REIT on the SGX in July 2006. His work experiences straddle between real estate investment and corporate finance. Before setting up of Cambridge REIT, he was Managing Director at Wee Poh Holdings Limited, a SGX-listed company. Prior to this, he was Director (Corporate Finance) of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd where he oversaw the initial preparatory and review work of Mapletree Investments’ REIT initiative.
He was also the Director of Business Development of GE Capital Real Estate responsible for identifying real estate and real estate-related investment opportunities in various parts of Asia. Prior to GE Capital Real Estate, he was with Keppel Land Limited where he initiated and headed Keppel Land’s project to set up a real estate fund with the Australian Mutual Provident Society of Australia for Asian distressed property assets. His early career was spent in the banking sector relating to real estate loans, investments and credit and marketing work functions in both foreign and local banks.
Wang Kin has a Masters degree in Design Studies with specialization in Real Estate and Urban Development from Harvard University and a Masters degree in Business Administration (specialization in Real Estate, Finance and Management) from Kellogg, Northwestern University.

Andrew has over 16 years of experience in the Financial and Real Estate Industry. Prior to joining Deloitte, He was the deputy general manager of a Hong Kong developer in Shanghai and Tianjin. His responsibilities include acquisition of land for development, leasing of commercial properties and serviced apartments, sales and marketing of development projects, and property management. Andrew’s financial experience include Fund Management and Direct Investment with Jardine Fleming, Derivative Sales and Structuring with Nomura, and Securities Trading and Corporate Finance with The Yuanta Group. Andrew is the head of the Real Estate Advisory team for the Eastern China Region. He is also the business development leader for the Firm’s Real Estate Industry Practice which comprises of dedicated professionals drawn across service functions of audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory.

Mr Brian Chinappi, Managing Director, RREEF Asia, RREEF Asia
Mr. Chinappi is a Managing Director within RREEF Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. RREEF is the global real estate investment management division of Deutsche Bank (previously referred to as DB Real Estate). Brian is the Head of Acquisitions for RREEF’s products and clients investing in Asia, excluding Japan and India. Such investments include real properties, property developments, non-performing loan portfolios and real estate operating companies. Prior to assuming his present role in 1999, Brian was a member of Bankers Trust's Real Estate Investment Banking Group (a predecessor group to RREEF/DB Real Estate) based in New York and Hong Kong. During his tenure with Bankers Trust, Brian completed numerous debt and equity financings and merger and acquisition assignments for clients, including REITs, public real estate operating companies and private investment partnerships. Brian joined Bankers Trust in 1994.

Mr Charles Cosgrove, President, Ayala International
Mr Cosgrove is President of Ayala International Pte Ltd, the Singapore-based international investment arm of Ayala Corporation, which he joined in 1995. Since establishing its international base in Singapore in 1995, Ayala has been an active property investor in Singapore and in other Asian markets. Ayala International has operated principally through joint ventures and collaborations with local and international investors in various markets which, to date, include Australia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Macau and Hong Kong. Since 1995, the company and its affiliates have made over $250 million of equity investments in these regional markets.
In August of 2006, Ayala Corporation established, together with Ayala Land and the venture’s CEO, Richard Yue, an Asian property fund management company, ARCH Capital Management, and initiated a first fund with a sponsor’s commitment of $75 million. The initial fund is targeted to raise a total of $250 million. The management venture and fund have already committed to investments in major residential development projects in Macau and Thailand, and expect to invest in China and India in the first half of 2007.
In 2004, Ayala International established an office in the San Francisco area to begin to build a real estate investment and management business in North America.
He began his career in 1980 as an associate lawyer at Shearman and Sterling, New York, where he was involved in real estate acquisitions, finance, corporate transactions and international business structuring for US affiliates and subsidiaries of foreign companies.
Mr Cosgrove graduated from Stanford University with an AB in 1977. He obtained a JD from Georgetown University in 1980. He is a Member of the New York State Bar (retired) and NYSBA.

Mr. Ekins has over 20 years' experience in the analysis and management of property investments. Prior to joining the Australian investment management team in March 1997, he spent three years at Hazama Corporation where he was responsible for managing a direct property portfolio. He also worked in commercial real estate consultancy for 8 years including valuation, and leasing roles at Jones Lang LaSalle and Knight Frank. Mr. Galaviz is one of the leading world experts on the analysis of the casino gaming, airline, and hotel/lodging industries in the international leisure sector; he is a Partner at Globalysis Ltd., a highly respected Las Vegas, Nevada based boutique leisure sector consultancy.
Early in his career Mr. Galaviz was in the management consulting industry focusing on strategy formulation for Fortune 500 clients mainly in the investment banking and technology industries in California, USA. He was later employed with Mandalay Resort Group (purchased later by MGM-Mirage), as a Las Vegas based Senior Project Analyst within the corporate group focusing on strategic and technology initiatives.

Randall Hall, Chief Executive Officer of Savills China, has 18 years of experience in the Asia Pacific property market. Originally from Sydney, Australia, he has been based in Shanghai since 2002.

Marc Halle is a Managing Director in the Global Merchant Banking Group where he is responsible for the portfolio management of the global real estate private equity portfolio and oversees all public real estate securities investments in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Mr. Halle is the Portfolio Manager for the Pramerica Real Estate Companies Fund (PRECO) series of real estate private equity funds as well as the Senior Portfolio Manager for all Global Real Estate Securities investments and funds. Mr. Halle has over twenty years of real estate experience and over eleven years experience in managing global real estate securities.

Mr Gregory Ku heads up our new office in Macau. He leads the sales and leasing business on large-scale commercial projects as well as major investment opportunities in the sector.
Experience Mr Ku brings with him over 10 years’ experiences in the industrial real estate sector in Hong Kong. He started his career at Lai Sun Development Limited in 1994, taking charge of the leasing and management of the group’s industrial properties.
Mr Ku joined the Industrial Department of Jones Lang LaSalle in 1996 and was promoted to department head role since 2002. Mr C.Y. Leung is Chairman of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung Asia, a leading property services company. The Company has 194 offices in 39 countries, employing an office staff of over 9,000 people worldwide. He is a past Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and past President of the Institute of Surveyors in Hong Kong. He is also a trustee, Executive Committee member and Chairman of Asia of the Urban Land Institute.
Mr Leung actively contributed to the development of a framework for land-use policies and real estate development in the mainland of China since 1978. In 1980, he was officially appointed as an adviser to the land and housing reform committees of the governments in Shanghai, Tianjin and Shenzhen. In 1988, shortly after the amendment of the Chinese Constitution, he assisted the Shanghai Government in selling the first land use right since 1949.
Mr Leung was extensively involved in the establishment of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative Region. He was Secretary General of the Basic Law Consultative Committee (1988-90), Leader of the Political Sub-Group of the Preliminary Working Committee (1993-95), Vice Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for HKSAR (1996-97) and Member of the Provisional Legislative Council (1997-98).
Since 1997, Mr Leung has been a member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong and is currently the Convenor. In 2003, he was elected a member of the National Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Mr. Xiaolong Liu is CEO of Shanghai Zhangjiang (Group) Co.,Ltd. He oversees all group operations and is in charge of the development of Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park. Prior to joining Zhangjiang, Mr. Liu was Managing Director of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone New Development Co.,Ltd. Previously, he was Executive Vice General Manager of Sinadanol Ltd. Mr. Vincent H.S. Lo, Chairman & CEO, Shui On Land
Mr. Vincent Lo Hong-sui is the Shui On Group's founding Chairman and Chief Executive and the Chairman and Chief Executive of Shui On Land Limited.
He founded the group in 1971, after having worked in his father’s business when he returned to Hong Kong from Australia in 1969. He has since built Shui On from a small construction company into a diversified group engaged in contracting and construction, construction materials, property development and investment, with business interests in Hong Kong, Mainland China and North America.
Mr. Lo holds a number of executive and non-executive directorships of leading Hong Kong corporations and he is an Advisory Professor at both Shanghai Tongji University and Shanghai University. He also holds a Doctor of Business Administration (honoris causa) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Born in 1948, Mr. Lo attended St. Joseph’s College in Hong Kong and the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Mr. Loh has more than 10 years experience in China Real Estate market that covers investment, asset management & operation. Mr. Loh joined The Ascott Group in 2001 as Vice President for Business Development & Asset Management, he has helped Ascott build its presence in North Asia, Middle East & Australia. Since his move to be the Managing Director of China in 2004, he has expanded the business in China from 8 properties (1,615 units) to 18 properties (3,500 units) presently. Ascott’s China profitability has also improved significantly during this period. Mr Brad Markoff, Co-Chair National REIT Practice, DLA Piper
Brad Markoff is a member of the firm's Real Estate Capital Markets practice, Co-chairman of the National REIT practice group and the Managing Partner of the Raleigh office. He is well known for his experience in complex financing transactions, including business rollups and strategic investments in a wide variety of industry segments such as REITs and financial institutions. In his practice, Mr. Markoff regularly handles a wide range of corporate and real estate finance, securities, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions matters, and he has worked closely with many of the nation's major investment banking firms. Mr. Markoff is currently a member of NAREIT's Board of Advisors and immediate past co-chair of NAREIT's Governmental Regulation SEC Subcommittee. As a part of his role as committee co-chair, Mr. Markoff has led the drafting of NAREIT's various responses to SEC rule making proposals. Mr Seck Guan Pua, Chief Executive Officer, CapitaMall Trust Management Ltd
Mr Pua Seck Guan is the Chief Executive Officer of CapitaMall Trust Management Limited (CMTML), the manager of CapitaMall Trust (CMT). CMT is Singapore’s first and largest listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) by asset size and market capitalisation. As at 31 December 2005, CMT has an asset size of approximately US$2.2 billion and a market capitalisation of approximately US$2.0 billion.
Mr Pua also holds the portfolio of Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Retail Limited (CRTL). CRTL is one of the largest retail players in Asia, with portfolio of over 45 malls in Singapore, China, India, Japan and Malaysia, comprising a total of approximately 23 million square feet of net lettable area. As the largest retail manager in Singapore, Mr Pua manages 15 malls comprising a total of over 5.3 million Square Feet (sq ft) of net lettable area in the suburban and central areas. Overseas, Mr Pua was actively involved in the development and launch of Raffles City Shanghai, and was instrumental in establishing the joint venture with Shenzhen International Trust & Investment Co., Ltd, to build and manage a portfolio of 21 retail malls, anchored by Wal-Mart, in various provincial cities across China.
Mr Pua is also the Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Financial (Real Estate Capital Management – Retail). He played a key role in creating the Group’s integrated China retail mall strategy with the establishment of CapitaRetail China Development Fund and CapitaRetail China Incubator Fund, which together amount to over US$1 billion. As part of this strategy, CapitaLand is also expected to list a China Retail REIT, worth US$500 million by the end of 2006 in Singapore. Mr Pua had also established CapitaRetail Japan Fund, a US$391 million private equity fund which owns four prime retail malls in Tokyo, Greater Tokyo, Osaka and Hokkaido. He had also established a US$300m private trust fund, CapitaRetail Singapore Limited, whose portfolio includes three prime suburban malls in Singapore, in which CMT has a 27.2% stake.
Before joining CapitaLand, Mr Pua held senior positions with Lend Lease and Singapore listed Hotel Properties Ltd. Kurt Roeloffs is a Managing Director and Asia Pacific Head of RREEF, Deutsche Bank’s real estate and infrastructure investment management division. In this capacity, Mr. Roeloffs has been responsible for nearly $4.0 billion of equity investments on behalf of his firm and its clients.
Prior to joining RREEF, Mr. Roeloffs was a Managing Director of Bankers Trust’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group where he completed over $10 billion of advisory, equity and debt assignments from 1989 to 1997 as well as founding its Asia business in 1994. Prior to joining Bankers Trust, Mr. Roeloffs was a Project Manager for Trammell Crow Company in its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office where he managed the development of a 750,000 square foot office park including its financing, construction, leasing and property management.
Mr. Roeloffs received a B.A. degree from Columbia University in 1984 and a M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1988. Current Responsibilities
Terence is Head of China Investments, managing the Investments businesses across China.
Position and Experience
Terence started with Jones Lang Wootton Singapore in 1989 in the Investment Sales department. He left Jones Lang LaSalle in 2003 when he was the Singapore’s Managing Director to join GIC Real Estate, a real estate investment arm of the Singapore Government. He rejoined Jones Lang LaSalle in January 2006 as a International Director.
During his 14 years with JONES LANG LaSALLE, his forte was in the areas of development and investment advisory as well as marketing consultancy. He was credited with several successful and well-known deals in Singapore including the sale of Paragon (S$683 million), Forum Galleria (S$359 million), 79 Anson Road (S$135 million) and many others. He has done real estate deals amounting to almost S$4 billion in value.
With GIC Real Estate, he has responsibility for investments and business development in Asia. He was involved in deals sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, structuring and acquisition of deals with particular emphasis in China, Japan and South East Asia. Deals included direct and indirect real estate assets, real estate corporations/funds, M&As as well as non-traditional real estate financing instruments.
Education and Affiliations
Terence holds an honours degree in Estate Management and is qualified in Corporate Investments with a diploma obtained from the Singapore Institute of Banking and Finance. In 2001, he attended The General Manager Program with the Harvard Business School.
He is currently on the Singapore’s Strata Titles Board, appointed by the Minister of National Development of Singapore.

Mr Bill Tsai, Managing Partner, Longridge Capital Advisors, LTD
Mr. Bill Tsai is an experienced banker in financial markets in Asia, North America, and Europe. Currently, Mr. Tsai is the Managing Partner of Longridge Capital Advisors, a private equity fund focusing on distressed assets, especially distressed real estate, in the greater China region. Specifically, the fund focuses on distressed properties in Southern China, Macau and Hong Kong.
Mr. Tsai’s background is in distressed asset and real estate investment, capital market and derivative trading. A veteran of the banking industry, Mr. Tsai was in charge of acquisition of over USD 1 billion of portfolios of non performing loans in China for private banking clients and subsequently his own firm of LCT Development. Prior to his work in China, Mr. Tsai worked on structured investments at the HVB Group, a banking group based in Munich, Germany. During the 1990s, he traded Asian currency and interest rate products in Hong Kong at Bankers Trust. After that, he arranged structured investments for corporate and institutional clients in Hong Kong and Taiwan at Schroders Asia. Mr. Tsai holds an MBA from Yale University.

TSE Sai Tung, Stones, is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SPG Land (Holdings) Limited. Mr. Tse also acts as director of SPG Investment. Mr Wilfred Y. W. Wong, Vice Chairman & COO, Shui On Land
Mr. Wilfred Wong Ying-wai is Vice-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Shui On Land Limited. He joined Shui On Holdings Limited in September 2000 and is also Vice-Chairman of the Shui On Group. Prior to joining Shui On, Mr. Wong held several senior positions in both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Wong left the civil service in 1992 to become Deputy Chief Executive of K.Wah International Limited, a Hong Kong-listed group engaged in construction materials, real estate development, hotel management and chain restaurant operations. While heading the China Investment Group Limited, a company he founded in 1994, Mr. Wong was concurrently appointed Managing Director of Henderson China Holdings Limited in 1999, where he formulated the company’s strategy to undertake real estate and high tech developments in the Chinese Mainland.

Zheng Xiaoping, founder and current partner of BAZO, has over 20 years of real estate related experience of which 10 focused on the China market. Dr Di Xu, Deputy General Manager, China Construction Bank
Dr. Di Xu, Deputy General Manager, Real Estate Finance Department, China Construction Bank (CCB). She has led the business design and technical implementation of the pilot project approved by the State Council for the issuance of mortgage-backed securities in China. Her team has introduced the international standards and best practices to China and constructed the most applicable securitization transaction structure and the line of business based on China’s current legal framework. The inaugural series of mortgage-backed securities was successfully launched in December 2005.
Before joining CCB in 2002, Dr. Di Xu worked at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) in Washington DC on the development of secondary mortgage market regulations, the mortgage performance models and their integration into the overall financial simulation model of the stress test which was used to set up the risk-based capital regulation for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She participated in the writing of the risk-based capital regulation and examined the credit and interest risks associated with mortgage performance in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s portfolio. She also worked as a consultant for the World Bank. Dr. Di Xu received her Ph.D. degree from MIT.

Richard Yue is CEO of ARCH Capital Management (“ARCH”), a new boutique real estate private equity fund management company. ARCH is a joint venture with the Ayala Group of the Philippines. Its first Fund will target opportunistic real estate investments in Asia outside of Japan and the Philippines. Its initial focus is on Macau, Thailand, China and India.
Mr. Yue has over 17 years experience in real estate investment. He and his team bring a wealth of experience in regional investment acquisitions. Prior to forming ARCH, Mr. Yue was Director of Investment at AIG Global Real Estate which has a portfolio of over US$ 6.0 billion in value and over 15 million square feet of property under management.
