The RailRoad Association of South Africa (RRA) is a non-profit organisation created by companies and organisations which:

• Are in, or associated with the railway industry 
• Desire to ensure the rightful place of all land transport in Southern Africa, in particular rail, which has been severely disadvantaged in previous years
• Desire consistency in the application of transport policies, safety, education and training, information and communication, regulations and technical specifications in the land-based transport arena
