Mat Baxter started his career as a marketing graduate joining Zenith Media in 1998. He rose through Zenith’s ranks quickly, becoming their youngest media manager at 23. In 2003 he joined global advertising giant WPP as business director and assumed responsibility for the launch of the group’s third media network, MAXUS. Mat moved in 2004 to become one of the founding partners of Naked Communications Australia, redefining the traditional practices of the marketing and advertising industry in Australia. Naked now counts some of the world’s biggest brands amongst its clients including Coca-Cola, Nokia, Unilever and ABSOLUT. Tim has been working in advertising for 18 years.
In the middle of 2004, Australia beckoned and Tim headed to George Patterson Partners Sydney as Managing Partner to run their enormous Telstra business and the new business effort. He was made Managing Partner for the entire office soon after. Once the agency was sold to WPP in August 2005 Tim was responsible for leading the merger of the George Patterson and Y&R Sydney operations. He then resigned to “let the new guys do their thing.”
Tim re-joined Leo Burnett as the Managing Director of their Sydney office in February 2006 and was appointed CEO in early 2007.

Mr Nick Cummins, Founder & Creative Director, Sputnik Agency
After studying Graphic Design and Majoring in Advertising at Monash University Nick worked for 11 years for some of Melbourne’s major advertising agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, Grey and Young and Rubicam as a main stream Art Director. He produced award-winning work for local and international brands in traditional medias such as T.V, radio and print.
In 1999 Nick left mainstream advertising and started an online agency, Sputnik. Digital advertising was in its infancy in ‘99 in Melbourne and Nick was excited about the potential of this medium. From what he could see it had few of the limitations of the traditional media he used to work in.
After starting the company with one other person (Tim Homewood), Nick has grown his agency into one of Australia’s leading digital agencies. With a staff now of 40 and a client list of national and international brands such as Miele, Cadbury Schweppes, Seek and RACV, Sputnik is enjoying a reputation for its creativity, ground breaking solutions and fresh approach to solving communication issues. He began his career in business magazine publishing and in 1997 became the first employee and General Manager of Yahoo! Australia and NZ. Tony was appointed Yahoo! Regional Vice President, South Asia in 2001 and then left the company in 2002 to pursue other investment opportunities in Australia. Since 2002 he has been an active promoter of early-stage internet companies, founding online DVD rental company HomeScreen Entertainment in 2003, which was sold to the listed Quickflix in 2005. He has served as an advisor to the boards of both Seek.com.au and online advertising company, One Digital.

During his time in the United Kingdom, Mr Freudenstein served as chairman of the Royal Television Society, chairman of Nickelodeon UK and as a director of the English National Ballet.

Adam also spent six years in the Australia film and television industry working across film, television, music videos and advertising.

Matt Kossatz became General Manager of IceTV in 2006 after starting with the company in early 2005 as the Business Development & Marketing Manager.

Mr Robert Leach, Head of MCN Connect, Multi Channel Network
Having worked in Advertising and Marketing on both the client and agency side for 10 years, Rob joined BSkyB as Client Sales Manager in September 1997.
He became Controller of Interactive Airtime Sales in September 2000, with the responsibility for creating and launching Sky’s ground-breaking interactive TV advertising services. Rob was responsible for assembling an interactive sales team from scratch and developing and implementing pioneering sales, pricing, and marketing strategies for this new service.
Rob was promoted to Head of Interactive Services for Sky Media in August 2003 with the additional remit of developing commercial models across all Sky’s digital media offerings.
In October 2006 Rob joined MCn in Sydney, the multi channel sales house for the Foxtel and Austar subscription TV platforms. David Moody joined the BBC Worldwide Board as Director of Strategy and Business Development (now called Digital Media) in December 2004. He is responsible for the ongoing development of BBC Worldwide's strategic direction, as well as the development of video on demand, web distribution and mobile activity, BBC Motion Gallery, the archive clips sales business and the launch of the two key consumer facing websites for BBC Worldwide: bbc.com and the commercial media player.
David joined the BBC in May 2002 as Commercial Director for the BBC Ventures Group (the former umbrella name for the BBC's commercial media services division, which included BBC Broadcast, BBC Resources, BBC Technology and Kingswood Warren Ventures).

Adrian heads up etv’s creative team as well as overseeing key Digital TV, broadband and mobile projects, including Thomas Cook TV, advertiser funded programmes for ITV and five as well as Thomas Cook Broadband and 3’s mobile TV services. He began his media career as a newspaper journalist before becoming one of Australia’s top executive producers for major lifestyle and sporting programmes. While at Channel Nine, Adrian was the founding producer of Australia’s number one travel programme “Getaway”. Under his stewardship, the programme won many awards and was sold to 14 countries, gaining an international audience of over 100 million.
