Mobile Content World Asia 2006
A fantastic conference and exhibition experience that generates wonderful discussion, great ideas for your own business and builds relationships with potential customers
The 1st annual Mobile Content World Asia 2006, held from 4 - 6 April 2006 at the Suntec International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Singapore, was a great success, with the 2007 show promising to be significantly larger in size with more indepth content and new topics.
Final attendance figures for Mobile Content World Asia 2006 - in its inaugural year in Asia – confirmed the event as one of the most successful and focused mobile content show in Asia!
The event saw over 620 unique visitors and 195 delegates from Asia, the US, Europe and the Middle East congregate at the Suntec Exhibition centre from across the global mobile industry to do business in a decisive year for new multimedia services and growing markets, with an exhibit market place featuring 19 exhibitors showcasing their products.
The event concluded with a big bang and with attendees' promises of attending again next year. Feedback from the delegates was encouraging, with most commenting on the high quality of speakers and the numerous networking opportunities which allowed as much time as possible for introductions to and relationships built with customers and partners. There was spirited, and at times, intense networking among speakers and delegates during all networking sessions and refreshment breaks.
The conference agenda provided a terrific line up of international speakers from across the major industry sectors and with a strong Asian component and the presentations received overwhelming endorsement from attendees. In particular, the Mobile Operators Power Panel sessions and Live Youth Focus Panel were enthusiastic received by our audience. Speed networking was also a great success– all participants reported wonderful results from this fast-paced introduction and business card swap.
Very well attended as well was the post-conference i-mode Masterclass, presented by Starhub and NTT DoCoMo. The discussion was all about i-mode, with i-mode users, content owners and commercial managers sharing their insights, motives, challenges and opportunities faced with i-mode implementation.
The two day-day conference at Mobile Content World 2006 attracted 195 high-level attendees. Mobile Content World Asia focuses on bringing top quality attendees, therefore delivering a large number of business opportunities that sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and participants truly benefited from -- that was what made this event such a success!
“We are thrilled with the reception to the conference. One of the things we tried to do was to bring in Mobile Operators, who have typically been a very noticeable missing segment from all the competitive conferences, to Terrapinn's Mobile Content events” – said Anne LeBoutillier, General Manager Telecoms & Media. It’s really important for us to design our conference agenda to drive participation from all the market segments and business parties that allow us to bring the right business partner to our sponsors and exhibitors.” Marketing and PR
The marketing campaign was targeted and extensive. Sponsors and exhibitors enjoyed unrivalled branding and marketing exposure to their target audience. Our global marketing campaign utilized a number of delivery channels including direct mail, advertisements/inserts in industry publications plus email and fax announcements. The entire campaign list was well research and highly targeted to ensure we reached the highest quality audience.
The supporting PR campaign also delivered with a large number of global press and broadcasters in attendance. Numerous interviews were undertaken at the event allowing speakers, sponsors and exhibitors press coverage and exposure to a wider audience.
