The European Casino Association (ECA) represents the interests of almost 900 casinos and 76.000 employees across Europe. Founded in the early 90’s as the European Casino Forum, the ECA has gradually grown over the years and today includes members from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. ECA membership continues to increase with Romania set to join the ECA during the General Assembly in summer 2007. The main purpose and objective of the European Casino Association (eca) is to address and promote issues related to casinos and/or casino operations and in doing so to provide a focal point on casino matters for casino operators as well as for EU and national policy makers and stakeholders. To this end, the eca aims to serve as a network for information; information that shall be used to communicate and work with the EU institutions on anything related to casino operations.

 

The Remote Gambling Association became operational on 1st August 2005 as a result of the merger between the Association of Remote Gambling Operators (ARGO) and the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (IGGBA). The RGA represents the world's largest and most well known remote gambling companies and provides the industry with a single voice on all the issues of importance to regulators, legislators, and key decision makers around the world.
