Executive Summary

The inaugural Ethanol & Biofuels Asia event held on 1-3 November 2006, at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre Singapore was a great success!  It has attracted more than 230 participants from all sectors of the industry which made it the largest and most relevant event of its kind in Asia.

The event has attracted delegations from more than 20 countries across the globe from the biofuels value chain and various industries including the biofuels producers, regulators, technology providers, feedstock producers, investment banks, investors, engineering consultants, traders and industrial end-users. The senior management level participants gained valuable insights on the fundamentals of ethanol and biofuels from the legislative, supply & demand and investment perspective and learnt the various biofuels investment opportunities and strategies from the experts for maximum profits and sustainable growth.
