The World Coal Institute (WCI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation of coal enterprises and associations - the only international body working on a worldwide basis on behalf of the coal industry. WCI’s key objective is to provide a voice for coal in international energy and environment policy discussions and to improve public awareness about the merits and importance of coal.
