He was born in Purwakarta, West Java, Indonesia on February 1, 1950. After graduated as a Chemical Engineer from Institute of Technology, Bandung (ITB) he spent about 25 years in a State Owned Enterprise (PT Pupuk Kujang) before he moved to current Company (PT Medco Methanol Bunyu). He started his career as process engineer in urea plant and then moved to several position in the Technical Department and later join Development Department where he involved in the development and construction of the several chemical plants as a joint venture companies of PT Pupuk Kujang, such as hydrogen peroxide; ammonium nitrate, catalyst. He also spent about 6 years as Technical Director in PT Aneka Gas Industri, another SOE for manufacturing and distributing industrial gases. Currently he hold the position of President Director of PT Medco Methanol Bunyu and later he also in charge of an LPG Plant of PT Medco LPG Kaji as President Director. He also involved in the supervision of the renewable energy project in the Medco Group and he hold the position Director in the PT Medco Ethanol Indonesia as well as President Commissioner of PT Medco Ethanol Lampung. The Ethanol project in Lampung is currently under construction and expected to be commissioned in December 2007. The plant capacity is 180 kl/day or 60 000 kl/year.
He is the member of The Institution of Engineers, Indonesi (Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia/PII) and hold the position of Chairman of Chemical Engineering Chapter. He also a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) as well as a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Dinesh has over 14 years experience in the field of Renewable Energy and Energy efficiency and specialized in biomass related technologies and applications. He heads the project development and carbon trading activities in the Asia Carbon Group. Dinesh heads the Climate Change division and is currently managing development of the CDM projects portfolio under the Asia Carbon Asset Development Facility in Asia. He is also the Director of the Carbon Trading division in Asia Carbon and also involved in the operations of the Asia Carbon Exchange, the World's first CDM focussed exchange. Prior to joining Asia Carbon, Dinesh worked in an Indian Public Sector Energy Financing organisation besides running his own consultancy firm. He also served for the world renowned The Energy Resources and Institute in India in the fields of Renewable Energy and Climate Change. At TERI he was heading the Centre for Global Environment Research group. He was involved in several assignments related to Renewable Energy, identification, development & evaluation of renewable energy projects under Clean Development Mechanism. He was one of the core team member of the World Bank's assignment on National Strategy Study on CDM implementation in India and executed several CDM related capacity building programme for Indian stakeholders. He has authored a book titled 'Selection, Financing & Installation of Biomass Power Plants', published by Central Board of Irrigation & Power, New Delhi in the year 2000. He is currently the Director, Carbon Trading / Head, Climate Change of the regional Asia Pacific office of Asia Carbon located in the Singapore. Dr K. K. Chan is responsible for the renewable energy projects in Asia Pacific and corporate finance activities in China. Starting his career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston, Dr Chan had extensive experience in major international investment banks, and focused on the origination and execution of capital markets and advisory transactions. Dr Chan had previously conducted research on state-of-the-art semiconductor materials and microelectronic device fabrication in Cambridge University. His research work was published and quoted in major international journals. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (first class honours) in Electrical and Information Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electronic Engineering from Cambridge University. Dr Chan also holds a LLB degree from London University and is pursuing an EMBA degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing.

Rob is recognised globally as an expert in the design and implementation of marketbased mechanisms to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Based in Sydney, Australia, he is a regular presenter at international climate change conferences and workshops across Europe, North America and Asia. Through his role with AS-AP, Rob provides a range of services covering climate change policy, carbon finance capacity building, offsets frameworks, project structuring, and carbon strategy development. Recent engagements include: • Facilitating CDM projects in China, including project discovery, deal • negotiations and financial closure, on behalf of a major carbon broker; • Reviewing designs of a market mechanism for New Zealand; • Advising on the design of the offsets mechanism within the Australian • National Emissions Trading Scheme (developed by States & Territories), • Assisting with the development of the new Verification Strategy for the • EU Emissions Trading Scheme (in collaboration with Ecofys); • Assisting with the development of marginal abatement cost curves for • the New Zealand economy (in collaboration with ICF International); • Guiding the structuring and development of conservation forestry projects; • Advising Papua New Guinea on institutional requirements for participation in the international carbon market (in collaboration with Ecotech Group). Simon T.W. Greenshields is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Head of Global Natural Gas Trading and Electricity Trading, Origination and Asset Development for the Commodities Division. Mr. Greenshields joined Morgan Stanley in 1983 as a Gold Bullion Trader in the Precious Metals Department. He returned to London in January 1984 to start and head up the Commodity Division in the European office. In August 1986, Mr. Greenshields returned to the Commodities Department in the Firm's New York office. He was elected to Vice President in 1987 and became a Principal in 1990. Mr. Greenshields was elected Managing Director in 1992.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Greenshields spent one year at J. Aron Company Ltd. as a Forex Futures Dealer. Prior to joining J. Aron Company Ltd., he spent almost three years at Harlow Meyer Savage & Company as a Dollar Deposit Dealer.
Mr. Greenshields was born on April 26, 1956. He graduated with a B.S.C. with Honors in Geology from London University in 1978.

Takashi Hongo is Special Advisor and Director General of the Environment Finance Engineering Department, established in October 2006, in Japan Bank for International Cooperation. He has served as the President of the Indian Pulp & Paper Technical Association (IPPTA), the coveted national level Organization of the technical fraternity of the Industry. He is an Executive Member of Indian Paper Manufacturers Association (IPMA) the apex Association of the large Pulp & Paper Industry and has served as Chairman of its Sub-Committee on Raw Materials and on Technical & Environment matters. He has been active in other business associations too, having served as President of Employers’ Federation of Southern India and Vice President of Employers’ Federation of India at national level.

Architrandi Priambodo (Chitra) has extensive experience in energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions issues and specialized in greenhouse gas reduction projects, particularly in energy sector. She is currently the Country Director of PT. Asia Carbon Indonesia, the Asia Carbon Office in Indonesia where she is actively involved in development of CDM projects and climate change issues in the country, as well as supporting the Asia Carbon Group in Greenhouse Gas projects in the South East Asia Region.
Her expertise in climate change and energy includes greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation technologies, energy saving and pollution prevention measures in industrial processes, and development of carbon credits from GHG mitigation project, especially on Clean Development Mechanism. Since October 2006 Verena Rix has been supporting the 3C Team in the management and analysis of CDM, JI and VER projects. She is responsible for the identification, development and assessment of projects in South East Asia and India. Verena is an expert in risk management for climate protection projects and holds in depth knowledge of the development process for CDM projects. Before working with 3C, Verena assisted the Energy and Environment Department of the German-Chilean Chamber of Commerce in Santiago de Chile and the KfW Carbon Fund in managing CDM projects. Verena holds a diploma in economics with a main focus on developing countries and economies in transition. As part of her diploma thesis she researched into the ability of the CDM to attract foreign direct investment and attain sustainable development. Throughout her studies she gained experiences in the international financial market, working for several German financial service providers (American Express, Union Investment) and the Diners Club in Rome, Italy. Furthermore Verena worked as scientific officer in information systems and taught macroeconomics.

Agus Sari, Country Director, South East Asia, EcoSecurities, Indonesia
Agus Sari is Country Director of EcoSecurities in Indonesia. While his main duties are developing and managing projects in Indonesia, he also manages EcoSecurities’ activities and carbon credit portfolio in Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining EcoSecurities, Mr. Sari was Executive Director of Pelangi, a leading environmental think tank in Jakarta. He has been involved in the climate change issue since late 1980s, following the international negotiation process from the very beginning as an independent observer as well as a part of the Indonesian Delegation. He also worked for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley, USA), the National Environmental Trust (Washington DC, USA), and the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia, Walhi, Jakarta, Indonesia).
His experience includes establishing the Climate Action Network Southeast Asia (CAN-SEA), a network of non-governmental organizations working on climate change in Southeast Asia; undertaking studies on the socio-economic impacts of climate change in Indonesia for the Asian Development Bank (ADB); and leading a Southeast Asia-wide Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) capacity building project under the auspices of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Center for Energy. Mr. Sari also led the World Bank National Strategy Studies on the CDM in Indonesia in 2002/03 and led the process for the establishment of the Indonesian Designated National CDM Authority (DNA) in 2004.
Regionally, he was also involved in capacity building for the DNA in Malaysia in 2004 and 2005 and, under the auspices of the United Nations Development Program, in preparing for the accession of East Timor into the Kyoto Protocol. Since 2005, he has been involved in ADB Technical Assistance in institutional building on CDM in Indonesia.
Mr. Sari teaches Environmental Science at the Indonesia Institute of Technology and, as a Visiting Lecturer in Winter Quarters, co-teaches a class on Carbon Politics at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has a degree in Energy and Resources from the University of California at Berkeley.
