John Teo CFO Singapore Pools John is the chief financial officer of Singapore Pools. Besides being responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting, settlements and accounting, his duties also include overseeing the human resource, risk management, information technology and branch network operations. Over the past few years, John has been closely involved in planning and putting in place new systems, processes and operational procedures in the various business units. He has also participated heavily in the review and re-organising of the company’s human resource strategy and performance reward systems.
Mildred Tan Chairperson of the Publicity Sub-committee, Singapore’s National Council on Problem Gambling The NCPG was appointed in August 2005 as part of Singapore’s national framework to address problem gambling. It is an independent council comprising 15 members with expertise and experience in public communications, psychiatry and psychology, social work, counseling and rehabilitative services. The Council’s mission is working with the community to reduce the impact of problem gambling on individuals, families and society.
Linda Woo Acting Executive Director, Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation, Australia Linda Woo has been almost 20 years experience in gaming regulation. She is the Director of Licensing and Gaming Services in the Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation (QOGR). QOGR regulates all forms of legal gambling in Queensland (casinos, gaming machines, keno, lotteries, wagering, interactive gambling, charitable lotteries, raffles and bingo). Queensland was the first jurisdiction in Australia to develop and implement a comprehensive legislative regime to regulate and control interactive gambling ie the Interactive Gambling (Player Protection) Act 1998.
