Mr Andrew Allen, Head of Research and Strategy, Cordea Savills
Andrew joined Cordea Savills in January 2004. As Head of Research and Strategy, he is responsible for Cordea Savills’ house view of property markets and for identifying themes and sectors of future out-performance. This research is used to make strategic decisions both in the management of client portfolios and for the development of new products. Andrew has extensive research experience in the commercial property sectors and has formulated the investment cases for both UK and continental European investment vehicles, which have been successfully launched. Andrew and his team also focus on the residential market and its sectors. Cordea Savills’ residential research is undertaken on a fully comparable basis with the analysis and forecasting process for the commercial sectors. Andrew sits on the Cordea Savills’ Investment and Risk Committee. He is also member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) and the Society of Property Researchers (SPR). Previously Andrew was at Henderson Global Investors, where he managed a team of four specialist market analysts.

Ali Arnaout, Managing Director, MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Real Estate Consulting
Dr. Ali Arnaout studied Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. After his studies he was lecturer and researcher at the department for Controlling at the University of Stuttgart on an international research program in USA, UK and Japan. After finishing his doctoral thesis he joined Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, Düsseldorf, where he established the competence center for Media & Telecommunication and then headed the strategic consulting division. Dr. Arnaout joined MPC Real Estate Consulting GmbH as Managing Director in 2004 being responsible for the worldwide asset management of the MPC Real Estate Funds with a total investment volume of above 4 bn. €. Besides, he is author of various publications concerning actual management trends.

Jürgen Bader, Managing Director, Lindner Immobilien Asset Management
Dr. Jürgen Bader, 55, works for Lindner Unternehmensgruppe, a major German real estate conglomerate (Medico Fonds, Gebau AG, Lindner Hotels AG, Lindner Architekten). Within Lindner group Dr. Bader is managing director of an asset management company that has launched an innovative “Spezialfonds” (open ended fund under the German investment law), which is purely cashflow driven/extremely risk-averse and therefore focuses on PPP/PFI-Projects and long leases with public tenants.
Before joining Lindner group Dr. Bader was managing director and chief investment officer of Bayer Pensionskasse, the largest single sponsor pension fund in Germany (6 bln Euros under management), for more than 12 years. With this background Dr. Bader has a very deep knowledge of the needs and requirements of institutional investors of these days.

Andreas Bernstorff, Managing Director CMO, Dresdner Kleinwort
Andreas Bernstorff is Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets Germany. After studying Economics and Politics at Trinity College Dublin Mr. Bernstorff started working for Dresdner Bank AG in Nuremberg. 1994 he started working at the Styndicate desk in Frankfurt and worked on transaction for Lufthansa (privatisation, 1994 & 1997). 1997 he signed for SBC Warburg (now UBS) concentrating wholly on Capital Markets, Origination in Germany and Scandinavia. He structured and executed various transactions, among others: Fortum (Finland, 1998), Helsinki Telephone (1999) and Elcoteq (2000). In Germany he was responsible for GfK (IPO, 1999), Epcos (IPO, 1999), Articon Integralis (2000) as well as a convertible bond for Preussag (1999). In 2000 Mr. Bernstorff started as Executive Director at Morgan Stanley responsible for Healthcare and Media in Europe. He worked on transactions for Rees Elsevier (UK, 2000) SES Astra (Luxemburg, 2001), Biovitrum (2001) and BrainLab (2001). In 2003 Herr Bernstorff returned to Dresdner Kleinwort.

Frank Billand, Executive Board member, DIFA Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG
Dr Frank Billand started his professional career at Hochtief AG. In 1984, where stayed until 2003 as spokesman for the management area of Hochtief development. Since 2003 Dr Frank Billand has been a member of the board of management of DIFA Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG, a part of the Union Investment Group of the Volks und Raiffeisenbanken Association. His main responsibilities are currently the acquisition and sale of properties and shopping centres in Germany, Austria, Italy, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Central Europe as well as project development, building activities, real estate marketing and communication

Stephan Bone-Winkel, Managing Director, BEOS
Born in 1965. Completed studies in business at the University of Cologne and HEC, Paris. From 1990-1993 he served as assistant lecturer at ebs, receiving his doctorate in 1994. From 1993-1996, Managing Director of the ebs Real Estate Academy, establishment of branch in Berlin. Dr. Bone-Winkel worked for DB Real Estate Management GmbH from 1996-1997 in development. He is managing director of BEOS GmbH in Berlin since 1997. Dr. Bone-Winkel was editor and author of many publications on real estate investment and development. From 2003-2006 he was also holding the endowed chair for real estate development at the European Business School.

Klaus Droste, Managing Director, Global Banking, Deutsche Bank
Klaus Droste is a Managing Director in Deutsche Bank’s Global Banking Division. He leads the G-REIT working group of Initiative Finanzplatz Deutschland. Before joining Deutsche Bank in 2000, Mr Droste was a Senior Partner and management consultants McKinsey and Company.

Klaus Elmendorff, Director, Real Estate, Deutsche Bank
Klaus Elmendorff is a Director in Real Estate Investment Banking based in Frankfurt since 2005. He has been focussing on the German real estate sector since 2002. Since September 2004 he has been a permanent member of the G-REIT working group, an initiative of the Finanzplatz Deutschland.
Klaus Elmendorff has a wealth of advisory experience especially within the real estate sector and his recent transactions include the sale of WOBA Dresden as well as a number of capital raisings such as the ones for Patrizia, DIC and, most recently, Immofinanz and Immoeast.

Dana K. Hamilton is Managing Director of Archstone B.V., a wholly owned Netherlands-based subsidiary of Archstone-Smith (NYSE: ASN) that invests in residential real estate outside of the United States.
Prior to moving to the Netherlands, Ms. Hamilton was executive vice president-National Operations. With Archstone-Smith since 1994, she has held a variety of senior positions in the areas of business development, marketing and communications and national operations.

Christof Hardebusch is editor-in-chief of IMMOBILIEN MANAGER, the leading German real estate magazine. As journalist, he specialized on real estate issues since 1997. He worked for Tagesspiegel (Berlin), Handelsblatt (Düsseldorf), Capital (Köln) and other German publications. In 2000 he became editor of IMMOBILIEN MANAGER. Since 2003 he leads this publication as editor-in-chief. He also is a member of the advisory boards of Real Estate Summit, Berlin, and Real Estate Forum.

For the last 12 years, Stephan Huessen worked as a member of the executive board at several real estate developers, amongst others as a managing director of SIREO Real Estate GmbH. This company is a joint venture between the Deutsche Telekom AG, Morgan Stanley and Corpus Real Estate Group.

Jean-Yves Klein, General Secretary, Foncière des Régions
Jean-Yves Klein 45 is Secretary General and Investors Relation of Foncière des Régions. He has been working in real estate for 23 years. After graduating from ESSEC, he was successively CFO and Secretary General of Immobilière Batibail until its merger with Gécina in 1999. He was part of the team that decided to launch the Foncière des Régions project in 2000. Since then the company has largely benefited from its involvment in sales and lease backs and from its original positioning among the French SIICs.

Gerrit Leopoldsberger, Partner, Dr. Leopoldsberger + Partner
Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Gerrit Leopoldsberger, born in 1965, did his doctorate at the European Business School Schloß Reichhartshausen Oestrich-Winkel after he had finished his studies of Business Administration at the Universities of Paderborn, Lock Haven (U.S.A.) and Puebla (Mexico).
He is the managing partner of the valuation company Dr. Leopoldsberger + Partner, Frankfurt am Main - Berlin and head of the chair for Real Estate Valuation at the University of Nuertingen - Geislingen.
His focus is on the valuation of commercial properties and on portfolio valuations for foreign and domestic investors.
Prof. Dr. Leopoldsberger is a member of the task force "Real Estate Valuation" of the German Real Estate Society (gif), Wiesbaden, of the Valuation Faculty Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), London, of the "Bundesverband Deutscher Grundstücksachverständiger", Munich and of the "Bundesverbandes der Immobilien-Investment-Sachverständigen“, Frankfurt am Main.

Mr Gareth Lewis, Director (Finance and Investment), British Property Federation
Gareth is Director of Finance and Investment at the British Property Federation and has been closely involved in lobbying the UK government as part of the pan-industry group that has played a key role in shaping the UK REIT regime, due to commence in January 2007. Gareth is a Chartered Accountant who, prior to joining the BPF, was a tax adviser within the real estate group of a “big-four” firm both within their London and New York offices.

Raffaele Lino, Managing Director, DTZ
Raffaele Lino joined DTZ in 2001. As Managing Director he is responsible for Investment Advisory and Corporate Finance services in Germany. His team specialises in due-diligence work for major property and NPL transactions, transaction structuring and financing, portfolio analysis and strategies for both institutional and high-networth private clients. Prior to this he worked as portfolio manager at FERI Real Estate and as project manager at Hines, where he gained extensive knowledge in portfolio and asset management, portfolio investments and project development. Raffaele Lino holds a master degree in Economics from the L. Bocconi University in Milan and is certified Expert in Economic Engineering EIE/ICEC since 1996.

Sven Lorenz, Business Development, Speymill Group Plc
Sven’s original background is journalism, having written for over 30 investment-related publications in 7 countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, the US, Spain and South Africa). He is a serial entrepreneur and consultant to a range of companies and high net-worth individuals, both in Germany as well as the UK. Among his current consulting clients is Speymill Property Managers (manager of privately-held Epicure Berlin Property Fund with €127m in equity and of AIM-listed Speymill Deutsche Immobilien with €250m in equity). Sven Lorenz acts as their advisor towards continued expansion into the German property fund and asset management market.

François Lugand, Partner, Arsene Avocats
François Lugand has been a tax specialist for 12 years during which time he has acquired a senior experience in the real estate industry. He has worked for many different actors such as international real estate funds or listed companies, for Pension Funds, French and International real estate developers, French and International investment companies. François Lugand became member of the Paris Bar Association in 1994, he worked as a tax counsel with Arthur Andersen International and Clifford Chance, Paris Office. He was admitted to practice as a Notary in December 2000, by decision of the French ministry of Justice. As partner of Deloitte & Touche Tax, François Lugand was head of the real estate tax group. He joined Arsene in September 2005 to lead and develop the real estate tax department. Arsene is a founding member of Taxand Global Alliance.

Paola Lunghini, Editor in Chief, Economia Immobiliare
Paola G. Lunghini is a property journalist, Editor in Chief of "Economia Immobiliare". She has been involved with FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. From 1984 to 1985 was the international president of "Group 35", the association’s chapter for young professionals. Later she became active in AICI, the Italian Association of Real Estate Consultants and Managers (www.aici-italia.it). Since the founding of AICI in 1987, she's been in charge of the association’s internal and external communications. In 1998 Paola joined ERES, the European Real Estate Society (www.eres.org), a pan European network of real estate economists. In 2001 she became a member of the association’s board of directors and further its President (until June 2006).

Keith O’Donnell, Partner, ATOZ
Keith O’Donnell studied law at the National University of Ireland (Dublin), and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant and as a member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
He started working in taxation in Dublin in 1988. In 1993, he was transferred to Luxembourg where he has been intensively involved in international tax projects. In July 2004, Keith created Atoz SA with five other partners. Atoz was a founder firm of Taxand, the first global tax alliance. Taxand is an alliance of independent tax firms active in 30 plus countries. Keith is the global leader of the Real Estate Group of Taxand. Previously, Keith was a tax partner in Andersen and subsequently in Ernst & Young. Keith had senior European responsibilities in the Investment Management and Real Estate industries within both firms.

Mr Jose Luis Pellicer, Head of Research and Strategy, Rockspring Property Investment Managers
Jose Luis joined Rockspring to head up European research in September 2004. The research function provides essential strategic advice and applied research in support of the investment management process. Previously an associate at Deutsche Bank Real Estate, the world’s largest property fund manager, Jose Luis was the main quantitative analyst in the European research team. Previous to that, Jose Luis was an economic consultant at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Develoment (EBRD) and a part time teacher at the London School of Economics. Jose Luis holds an MA in Economics from the University of Louvain in Belgium, and an Msc in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School (both awarded with Distinction). He is FSA approved, a member of the Society of Property Researchers, speaks fluent English, French and Spanish and has a very good command of German and Italian.

Stephan Rind, Chief Executive Officer, Colonia Real Estate
Stephan Rind is Chief Executive Officer the Colonia Real Estate AG since 2003. He is responsible for the division strategy, asset management and investor relations. Prior to this mandate, he was Chief Investment Officer of Fortman Cline Group in Switzerland from 1997 to 2002 and responsible for the private equity portfolio with a completed transaction volume in excess of EUR 1.2 billion.
Mr. Rind started his career in 1991 at Prudential Securities in New York and Düsseldorf. Among other positions he was US REITs Analyst and Financial Adviser to European institutional investors in quoted Real Estate Companies. He was also co-initiator of the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (Germany’s Alternative Investment Association) in 1997.

Lutz Ristow, CEO, TAG Tegernsee Immobilien- und Beteiligungs AG
Dr. Lutz R. Ristow started his investment banking career at M.M. Warburg, Hamburg, with stays at S.G. Warburg, London, Smith Barney & Co., New York, and Canadian Imperial Bank, Toronto. Later he held the post of an Executive Vice President at a merchant bank in Hamburg. Further he was a Managing Director (Vorstand) of Global Bank AG, Hamburg, now NATWEST, London. In 1981 established his own investment management firm in Hamburg with increasing involvement in real estate. In 1985 he was involved in an acquisition of majority of Bau-Verein, Hamburg, a publicly quoted real estate company. Following the acquisition he was the Chairman of the company for 8 years until resale. In 1994 Dr. Ristow took part in an acquisition of a majority of a publicly quoted shell (RSE), formerly a railway company with real estate holdings and a listing on the German Stock Exchange. Since 1995 held the post of CEO of RSE Grundbesitz und Beteiligungs-AG, Hamburg, one of the biggest publicly quoted property companies in Germany. In 1998 he led a joint venture between Hamburgische Landesbank (now HSH-Nordbank) and RSE to acquire a 74,9% majority in GEHAG, a Berlin based residential company, owning 21.000 units in West-Berlin and was subsequently appointed chairman of GEHAG and the joint venture holding company. Since 2001 served as a deputy Chairman and CEO of a Swiss property company (REG Real Estate Group, Zürich, formerly Feldschlösschen) which was merged in May 2004 with another Swiss property company, creating the biggest publicly quoted Swiss property company, ranking today among the top 10 in Europe (PSP). After finishing his job in Switzerland he returned to Germany and was appointed CEO of TAG, a publicly quoted property company in Germany, concentrating on the residential property market and the refurbishment business. Dr. Ristow is also a shareholder of TAG. His real estate know-how led to the appointment of the board of EPRA.

Allan Saunderson, Managing Editor, Property Finance Europe
Allan Saunderson is founder and Managing Editor of Property Finance Europe, a twice-monthly specialist report on mainland Europe investment real estate finance launched in April 2005. A Reuters financial journalist in London, Frankfurt and Paris during the 1980s, he was appointed by the late French Prime Minister Pierre Bérégovoy as adviser to the French finance ministry in 1991. Allan moved to Bank Julius Bär (Frankfurt) in the early 1990s as head of European research before founding an economic and monetary asset management consultancy, Eurozone Advisors, and becoming a well-known Bundesbank and then European Central Bank ‘watcher’. He moved into real estate finance in 2002 with easetec, a Frankfurt-based consultancy.

Jürgen Schäfer, Executive Board Member, FERI Wealth Management
Dr. Jürgen Schäfer, MRICS is Member of the Executive Board of Feri Wealth Management. He is responsible for the real estate investments of the private clients. He is initiator of a real estate fund and managing director of several investment companies which were launched for cli-ents. Further he is member of various investment committees.
Dr. Schäfer is member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is lecturer and examiner at the European Business School. He has published two compendiums on real estate investing and is author on other literature concerning real estate.
Dr. Schäfer has a doctors degree in law from the Goethe University in Frankfurt and a degree in real estate economics from the European Business School.
Previously to joining Feri Wealth Management he was head of a branch of Viterra Development and was working in leading positions for other companies.

Iris Schöberl is Managing Director of REIT Asset Management GMbH since its foundation in January 2000. Since then she has built up a retail, office and light industrial dominated portfolio of €1.2 bn euro.
Prior to this she stayed 17 years with HypoVereinsbank, where she was responsible for international and cross-national funding as well as international acquisition strategies.

Uwe Stoschek, Partner, Pricewaterhouse Coopers
Uwe Stoschek is a partner in the National and International Tax and Legal Services Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is also the leader of the German Investment Management and Real Estate Tax group of PricewaterhouseCoopers EUROFIRM in Germany. Uwe is also a member of the EPRA Tax Transparency Board, which plays an important role in lobbying for and supporting the introduction of a G-REIT system.
