Interpreting policy and funding solutions - improving infrastructure and operations to maximise client and stakeholder satisfaction

Practical initiatives in the evolution of metro railways to develop revenues and control costs

An interactive workshop led by EC Harris with guest speakers from major international funding, operational and supply organisations

Metros are an economic, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly form of transport.  However to encourage greater use of metros there is a need for continuous revitalisation, renewal and new build to maximise attractiveness and the key advantages of metros in respect to speed, numbers of passengers carried and service quality.

This workshop will aim to reflect best practice and new thinking in the metro sector on a range of subjects.  It will discuss issues that need to be resolved in order to move the sector forward.  Your workshop leaders will inform, co-ordinate views and outline some initial agreement among participants on new requirements, revisions and changes in metro evolution to achieve practical effectiveness.  The workshop will also headline issues for further discussion during the conference.
