Since joining StarHub in 2001, Angela has held different portfolios in the mobile division. As the Business Development Manager of StarHub Mobile i-mode services , Angela was a key player in StarHub’s negotiation with NTT DoCoMo in bringing i-mode to Singapore. In a short span of a few months, she guides her team in identifying core content partners and managed the successful launch of the entire i-mode content portfolio with over 116 sites.

Mr Rico Camus, AVP Licensing and Syndication, ABS-CBN, Philippines
Rafael Camus, or Rico to his friends, is a 9 year veteran of the Philippine mobile phone industry. He started working with pioneering analog mobile operator, Piltel in 1996, holding positions in Sales and Marketing and transferring to another analog carrier, Extelcom, in 1999. In 2000, he joined the leading Philippine GSM mobile operator, Globe Telecom, where he led the Content Management Team for its Wireless Data Group. At Globe he worked on many content deals that bridged the worlds of mobile and broadcast, with internationally renowned media entities such as CNN, Cartoon Network, the NBA and the Walt Disney Company (Disney Mobile).
In 2003, he joined Philippine media giant ABS CBN broadcasting, through their internet and mobile content subsidiary, ABS CBN Interactive, Inc. He is currently the Head for Mobile Games and International where he works on deals that take content from top rated TV shows and make them available for mobile subscribers. He is also actively involved in helping the company expand its reach in Asia Pacific with alliances with broadcast entities in the region.

Kin Hung Chan, Head of Mobile, StarHub Ltd, Singapore
Mr Chan Kin Hung , Senior Vice President of StarHub, is responsible for the strategic direction, marketing strategies, financial performance and operations of StarHub’s mobile services. He joined StarHub in January 2001, bringing with him more than 15 years of product development, marketing, sales and general management experience in the computer and telecommunications industry. Mr Chan first started his career in various marketing positions in the Hong Kong and China operations of multinational corporations such as Digital Equipment and Apple Computer International Limited. He also spent nine years in Singapore holding various senior positions in the industry. He successfully implemented strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans to promote the mobile, narrowband and broadband Internet segments in Singapore. Prior to joining StarHub, he was the Managing Director of UUNET Singapore Pte Ltd, an MCI WorldCom Company where he was tasked to start and build up the Singapore operations from scratch and had succeeded in establishing UUNET in the local market as the key player in the wholesale and corporate Internet marketplace. Mr Chan received a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong

Chris Chandler is Head of Mobile Products for Yahoo! Asia-Pacific’s Connected Life business unit. Since joining Yahoo!s Singapore office in 2004, Chris has been responsible for Yahoo!s product strategy for the region and the deployment of Yahoo!s WAP, SMS and client based products across the region.
Previously, Chris served as Director of Product Management at EarthLink, Inc., a leading Internet service provider in the US offering broadband, wireless, dial-up, webhosting, and voice solutions to more than five million subscribers.
Chris received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr Roy D. Chapin IV, CEO & Founder, MovieSeer Limited, Thailand
Roy D. Chapin IV is the founder and CEO of MovieSeer Limited, a leading wireless entertainment company which focuses on wireless licensing and content production.
Roy has had over 6 years experience in the telecommunication and wireless industry. Over these 6 years he has helped lead MovieSeer to develop one of the first to regional WAP entertainment portal with Sony Ericsson, introduce of the start of “Prepaid Card” wireless promotions for multiple mobile operators in APAC, become the sole and exclusive wireless licensee and representative of Sony Pictures Mobile for South Asia. and the first to launch a mobile sports fantasy WAP game in APAC.
Roy currently is based in Bangkok, Thailand where he has been living for over 10 years.

Ms Charlene Chong, Founder & CEO, The Grotto
Charlene Chong founded The Grotto Pte Ltd in April 2003. The Grotto is a wine, lifestyle and events company. The Grotto’s online wine shop has been voted ‘Top Three Wine Stores in Singapore (2006)’ by Singapore Tatler’s readers. The company has presence in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong.
In recognition of her contribution to the wine & Champagne industry, Charlene was inducted in 2005 as Dame-Chevalier of L’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne.
Prior to founding The Grotto Pte Ltd, Charlene was a Senior Conflict Analyst with a New York-based law firm, White & Case LLP. Charlene was responsible for the creation and operations of the Singapore Conflicts & Information Services Department that served the Asian offices of the firm. She also created and managed the department’s Knowledge Management System – CIS KnowledgeBase, as well as the creation of the framework for the implementation of a Competitive Intelligence System.
Charlene spent over three years with National Computer Systems Pte Ltd (NCS) in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, as well as the Management Committee, she was responsible for Competitive Intelligence and Corporate Planning.
Charlene received her Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), Australia, and her Bachelor of Arts (Social Science & Public Relations) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

Mr Gregg Creevey, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development, CNBC Asia Pacific
A television industry veteran with extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region, Gregg Creevey oversees the entire sales, marketing and business development operations at CNBC Asia Pacific. This includes advertising sales and subscription-based sales on distribution networks, as well as on mobile platforms. He is also responsible for expanding network and programming distribution to terrestrial broadcasters, commercial establishments, financial institutions, hotels and airlines across the region. Additionally, Creevey spearheads the development of strategic partnership initiatives with prominent broadcast media entities in the region, including TV-18 in India, Nikkei in Japan and the Shanghai Media Group, in China. He also works closely with CNBC’s strategic partners to improve the brand’s presence in all of the markets that the channel serves.
Creevey has over 18 years of experience in the Asia Pacific broadcast industry, and was previously one of the longest standing and most experienced executives at Turner International. As the Senior Vice President, Network Distribution and Content Sales, for Turner International Asia Pacific, Creevey spearheaded several successful initiatives, including the implementation of a dedicated CNN service in Japan, negotiating for CNN to be the first licensed foreign retransmission cable channel in Korea, and identifying the first mobile content deals for Cartoon Network in Asia.

Mario is currently the Head of Service Creation and VAS Product Business Group of Globe Telecom, Philippines. Mario is currently heading two divisions in Globe Telecom: Head of the Service Creation Division, He heads the group that handles New Products and Innovations for one of the Biggest; Head of VAS Product Management, oversees Content Development and Product Management for Value Added Services Mario is, as well, a Consultant for the Project Management Talent Pool, trained most of the Project Managers of Globe and facilitates training for Earned Value.
Prior to Globe telecom he was Managing Director, Drexel Sun Business Consulting, Dearborn, Michigan, USA, specializing in project management, process management, product development and management consulting. Mr Steven Frank, Director of Business Development, THQ Wireless, Asia
Steven is currently the Director of Business Development for THQ Wireless in Asia. Prior to THQW, Steven was Director of Business Development for Contec Innovations Inc., a developer of carrier-class mobile application servers. Steven started in the mobile entertainment industry in 2001 with Riot Entertainment. Riot-E was a pioneer in publishing branded mobile content and was the first to bring such brands as The X-Men, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Spiderman and The Lord of the Rings to thousands of mobile phones on 3 continents. Before Riot-E, Steven managed regional sales and marketing activities for Intel Corporation in Asia, and was a Senior Engineer in charge of software test and development activities with Martin Marietta Corporation (now Lockheed Martin Corporation) based in Santa Clara, CA. Steven has a Masters in International Management (MIM) from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

Alan Giebel, CEO & Founder, Mikoishi, Singapore
Mr. Giebel will join Mikoishi Pte. Ltd. on January 2, 2006, bringing 10 plus years of telecommunications and wireless content experience to the business.
Prior to joining Mikoishi, Mr. Giebel set up and managed THQ Wireless’ business in Asia serving as Business Development Director, Asia. During his 2 ½ years of work with THQ he was instrumental in building out distribution channels around the region. Key achievements include a THQ investment in a Chinese partner as well as building key channels in Korea and other parts of the region. Before joining THQ, Mr. Giebel held a number of senior positions including Senior VP of Asia Pacific and Senior VP of Development for Riot Entertainment Ltd. (Riot-e). Riot-e was a pioneer in the wireless entertainment industry introducing a number of branded wireless entertainment products (X-men, Lord of the Rings, Bridget Jones Diary etc) into more that 25 operators worldwide. Mr. Giebel spent nine years with AT&T / Lucent Technologies before his time at Riot-e. The main focus of his time at Lucent Technologies was the building revenue streams and developing and supporting sales teams. Mr Vishal Gondal, Founder & Director, IndiaGames, India
The term 'child prodigy' fits Vishal Gondal like a 'T'. He started programming algorithms at the age of 14 - an age at which most kids were trying to figure out how to solve logarithms. Soon after finishing his schooling, Vishal started his own company, FACT, at the age of 16. During his college days, Vishal played volleyball at the state and national levels, and was a Rank holder of National Computer Problem Solving Contest in 'C' programming. He founded Indiagames in 1999 and has grown it from a 5 man team to a global operation with over 270 employees.
Vishal has worked with major hollywood studios, games publishers, handsets manufacturers, technology companies, wireless operators, media entertainment companies and is instrumental in starting and growing the Gaming Industry in India. He heads the Mumbai Chapter of the International Game Developers Association.

In 1999, Gentleman magazine featured Vishal as one of the twenty persons to look for in the next century. In December 2001, Business Today featured Vishal among the top 40 entrepreneurs of India. In 2004 he was nominated for the E&Y Indian Entrepreneur of the year award.

Gregory Ho is Vice President of Advertising Sales for SPE Networks – Asia, overseeing advertising sales and sales operations region wide for both AXN Asia – Asia’s first and only 24/7 action adventure channel as well as Animax Asia – Asia’s first 24/7 Japanese animation channel.
Previously Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services of the network, Greg was the driver behind the network’s marketing, branding and communications efforts in building AXN to become one of the most popular and recognizable international TV brands in Asia today, attracting over 27 million viewers every month.
Greg was also responsible for marketing the launch of Animax in 2004, the most successful new channel launch in recent years and already seen in 16 million homes across Asia.
Other notable initiatives spearheaded include leading the Creative Services team in the 2004 Promax BDA Asia Gold Award for Best On-Air Branding, the 2004 NY Festival Silver Award for Best On-Air Program Promotion, Best .
A lawyer by training, Greg has over 15 years of broadcasting experience spanning marking, advertising sales, sales services, business development, distribution and on-air channel presentation. He began his broadcast career at SBC Radio Enterprises (now Mediacorp Radio) and was involved in the launch of format radio in Singapore. Greg made his mark in the cable and satellite industry with Asia Business News (ABN) where he was initially responsible for global advertising sales support. He subsequently managed regional distribution sales for ABN and following the merger with CNBC, was made regional advertising manager for S.E. Asia.
A self confessed “petrol-head”, Greg also gets his buzz on the golf course when he is not spending time with his wife and baby daughter.

Paul Meyers is the Founder and CEO of Acme Mobile, one of Asia’s largest distributors of mobile entertainment products.
Over the past 12 years, Paul has lived and worked in Asia as a media and interactive content pioneer. He created a number of groundbreaking interactive products and companies, launching and building localized versions of international media companies, and raising tens of millions of dollars in venture funding.
Some of Paul’s roles have included being COO of FantasticOne, building the first pan-Asian broadband entertainment company, Founder and GM of MTVAsia.com, leading the establishment of MTV’s Internet presence in 6 Asian countries; VP of Business Development at Asiacontent.com, bringing global media brands such as CNET, MTV, E! Simon Naylor, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Sonus Networks
As Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan, Simon Naylor is responsible for the company’s sales, marketing and business operations throughout the entire Asia Pacific region, including Japan. In this role, Mr Naylor is focused on generating a greater awareness of Sonus Networks and the advantages of class-leading voice over IP (VoIP) solutions throughout the region. He is also responsible for forging strategic partnerships with industry-leading telecommunications providers, while building a network of resellers and channel partners.
Mr Naylor brings more than thirteen years experience in the Asia Pacific region to his position at Sonus. Prior to joining Sonus in 2000, Mr Naylor was Vice President, Asia Pacific for RSA Security, where he was responsible for the company’s operations throughout the region. With Mr Naylor at the helm, RSA Security Asia Pacific’s revenues quadrupled in the three years since 1997 when Mr Naylor was running the company. The company’s distribution channels also grew from 16 partners in six countries in 1997, to 65 partners in thirteen countries in 2000. In addition, new offices were set up in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Sydney, and an R&D centre was also set up in Brisbane.
Mr Naylor began his career in Asia in 1989 with Case/Dowty Communications, ending his tenure there in 1992 as General Manager (GM) for Asia Pacific. In 1992, he joined ITS (now named Equant) as General Manager, South Asia and was later promoted to Sales Director, Asia Pacific, in addition to the South Asia GM role. In 1995, Mr. Naylor was further promoted to Managing Director, Asia Pacific, for ITS, a post he held until his departure from the company in October 1997. While at ITS, Mr Naylor was instrumental in ITS meeting its revenue targets every year, with revenues quadrupling from US$20 million to US$80 million and with 400 staff in 11 countries across Asia Pacific.

Dr. Madanmohan Rao, a consultant and writer from Bangalore, is research consultant at the Asian Media Information and Communication centre (AMIC). He is the editor of three book series: “The Asia Pacific Internet Handbook”, “The Knowledge Management Chronicles” and “AfricaDotEdu” (McGraw Hill). He is also editor-at-large of DestinationKM.com and contributor to the Poynter Institute blog on new media trends. Madan was on the international editorial board of the recently published book, “Transforming e-Knowledge.”
Madan was formerly the communications director at the United Nations Inter Press Service bureau in New York, and vice president at IndiaWorld Communications in Bombay. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology at Bombay and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with an M.S. in computer science and a Ph.D. in communications. He is currently the director of the InfoComm Observatory at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Mike is responsible for the product planning, development and management of StarHub's products and services, and for marketing across its consumer and business market sectors. He is also responsible for the consumer sales organisation which includes both direct and indirect channels. Prior to taking this role, Mike was the Head of Consumer Markets responsible for the consumer market sector for StarHub's products and services. He joined StarHub in 2001 as Senior Vice President of StarHub's Business Markets, where he headed Corporate Sales, Domestic Wholesale, International Services, Product Management & Marketing, and International Telephony.
Mike is a veteran in the telecommunications industry, having spent more than 28 years working in all aspects of the industry. He has held a variety of positions with BellSouth Corporation in the American and Asia Pacific regions. Prior to joining StarHub, Mike was based in Beijing, as the President of BellSouth China's operations where he was in charge of business development and government relations and was responsible for BellSouth's two operating entities in China.

Mr Richard Robinson, Vice President, International Business Development, Linktone Inc, China
As Vice President of International Business Development for Linktone, a leading provider of wireless value-added services to mobile phone users in China, Richard sources and manages relationships with international content partners such as Sony Music, Disney, Cartoon Network and Channel V's News Corp to bring their wireless content and services to the mobile Middle Kingdom. Richard most recently served as Managing Director of China for Mobile Internet Group in Beijing where he oversaw all China client relationships and operations including closing a deal with Yao Ming to create a suite of mobile services for the China market around the NBA All-Star. Prior to that, Richard was Founder and CEO of Mobile interactive Games Ltd, which he started in Beijing in October of 2001 in conjunction with MINT, a PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting funded incubator. MiG was fully acquired by Sun Microsystems invested Softgame Pty Ltd in late 2002 (subsequently renamed Mobile Internet Group Pty. Ltd.).
Richard received an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in The Netherlands in 1996, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1989. Advertising Age Magazine selected Richard as a Top Ten international Internet Superstar in 2000. Richard also founded the first Asian chapter of the Interactive Advertising Bureau and served as its chairman from 1997-2000. He is also one of the founders of IandI, a leading Technonlogy, Media & Telecommunications networking organization around Asia. Scott is CEO of Purple Ace and was the chief consultant and majority owner of Express Telecom, a mobile network operator in the Philippines prior to this.
Formerly with Millicom International Cellular (MIC), he led their Messaging, VAS and Information Technology teams in Asia, growing the business from 0 to 12 million dollars over two years. He moved to MIC from Nokia where he was Head of Mobile Internet Delivery. In a nine-year tenure with Nortel Networks prior to that, he was successful in numerous key positions, including R&D Management in Ireland and Regional Account Management in Houston. He currently a member of the board of two telecom companies in Asia.

Mr Matthew Talbot, Managing Director, Asia, Mobile 365 Pte Ltd, Singapore
Prior to Mobile 365, Matthew served as the CEO of MIG (Mobile Internet Group), a leading wireless ASP and co-publisher (based in Asia), providing a white-labeled software infrastructure for the deployment and delivery of content, applications, and services to mobile users through its international network of operators. Matthew grew MIG from three to more than 40 employees worldwide. Prior to joining MIG in February 2001, Matthew was with Tattersall's, Australia's largest privately-owned gaming and entertainment leader, as marketing strategic planning manager. While with Tattersall's, Matthew led the development and launch of Tatts.com and PhoneLotto, the company's online and IVR-based gaming brands, and was part of the successful bid team for the South African National Lottery. Mr Kenneth Tan, Managing Director, Golden Village, Singapore
Kenneth Tan is presently responsible for all of the Village Roadshow Group’s businesses in Singapore, as Managing Director of Golden Village Multiplex Pte Ltd and Golden Village Pictures Pte Ltd, and Director of Village Roadshow Singapore Pte Ltd.
He has been Chairman of the Singapore Film Society since 1984, and is synonymous with film festivals and cultural cinema, personally curating and promoting over 300 international movie screenings per year over and above those of his commercial cinema circuit. Active for close to twenty years in social and community service, he presently also serves as Chairman of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Curriculum Advisory Committee for the School of Film & Media Studies; Board Member of the National University of Singapore Business School; Board Member of the Singapore Film Commission; Board Member of The Arts House at the Old Parliament; and Council Member of the Promote Mandarin Council.
Kenneth previously held five senior management positions at MediaCorp – Chief Operating Officer, Television; Chief Executive Officer, Radio; Managing Director, Caldecott Productions International; Executive Vice President, Group Communications; Executive Vice President, Group Research. Before MediaCorp, he spent twelve years at Acorn Marketing & Research Consultants, the largest Singaporean-founded pan-Asian consumer research group, rising through the ranks to become Managing Director of their Singapore headquarters, where he earned an enduring reputation for leading-edge strategic marketing and consultancy that remains the industry benchmark today.

Mr Tan Teck Seng, Director, Apic Systems Pte Ltd (iGuanaMobile), Malaysia
Teck Seng, serves as both the CEO of iGuanaMobile Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and the Director of Apic System Pte Ltd (iGuanaMobile, Singapore) and Prior to iGuanaMobile, Teck Seng was working on 3D Virtual Communities and Device-Aware Content repurposing projects in Kent Ridge Digital Labs, a research laboratory now known as I2R (i2r.a-star.edu.sg). The projects led to a spin off company NewsTakes which specialised in adaptive repurposing of media-rich content to devices. TeckSeng was the founding member for NewsTakes; he took the role as the Engineering manager and was in-charge of setting up an office in Japan, with Panasonic as business partner. TeckSeng holds a Master in technology from Institute of System Science, Singapore and an engineering degree with honours from National University of Singapore.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Loke Kheng is overall responsible for marketing StarHub’s suite of info-comms and entertainment services to its business and consumer customers. In addition, Loke Kheng also heads up StarHub's Content team. Mr Mark Thong, Regional Sales Director, Xiam Technologies Ltd
Based in the regional headquarters office in Singapore, Mark serves as the Regional Sales Director and is responsible for overseeing sales efforts for Xiam’s products in the Asia Pacific region.
Mark’s 12-year career includes broad experience and successes in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Prior to Xiam, Mark was the Regional Director for Redknee, an innovative software provider of network-based mobile applications, in the Asia Pacific and China regions.
Mark’s career includes service for Kenan Systems, the market leader in Billing and Customer Care solution. Kenan System was subsequently acquired by Lucent in 1999 and then by CSG Systems in 2001. In this period of time, Mark has taken on various responsibilities to contribute to the rapid growth in the Asia Pacific organization, which included Consulting, Presales and Sales. Mark was the Business Development Manager for CSG Asia Pacific before he moved on to Redknee.
Mark's employment history also includes work in IT and Network management, and large-scale projects for several leading companies.

Mr Jon Tinberg, CEO, Valorem System, Australia
Born in Kansas City in the USA, Jon completed his university studies at the University Of Michigan where he graduated with highest honours in Economics and won the senior prize for research. After travelling extensively in Australia, China and South East Asia, Jon returned to Australia to settle in 1991.
During the 1990’s Jon worked at NSW TAFE, private providers and local community colleges, where he specialised in computer training at the Diploma level. Jon completed a Masters in Adult Education from the University of Technology Sydney in 1994, and started his own private training college in 2001, in which he still maintains an active interest.
In 2002, Jon was working closely with training clients who were involved in on-site audits of activity. The client’s interest was in being able to complete a form on-site, on a PDA, and to include photos. From this opportunity, Jon formed Valorem Systems Pty Ltd to specialise in the development of mobility applications which include multi-media data (photos, voice and text combined). The capture of all three important communication media (images, speech and writing) combined in a time-date form was unique, and this development was successfully patented by the Valorem team.
As CEO of Valorem, Jon actively drives the business to remain at the forefront of mobility solution development, where information in motion unlocks value. From the initial solution – Kevah – the Valorem team continues to develop applications and integrate Kevah into companies enterprise systems, extending the reach of enterprise information into the field.

Mr Yoshiteru Yamaguchi, Director of Content, NTTDoCoMo
Yoshiteru Yamaguchi, Executive Director for Contents, has overall responsibility for developing mobile contents and its system around, including i-mode and other services.
Mr. Yamaguchi, one of the key developers of i-mode contents from its early stages of the service launch in 1999. The service has achieved tremendous success, attracting more than 46 million subscribers to date while pioneering world’s non-voice communications market.
Mr. Yamaguchi started his career with Recruit Co., Ltd, a successful information services company. He joined NTT DoCoMo in 1999.
He is a postgraduate of Kansai University in Japan.

Henry Yeh is the SVP International Business and Chief Operating Officer of Com2uS Corporation. His responsibilities include development, licensing, partnerships, marketing & promotions. He ensures Com2uS offices in Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Bangalore, London and Los Angeles support their respective operators/carriers and end users.
Currently, Com2uS games can be purchased in over 40 countries through 80 operators/carriers. Prior to joining Com2uS in early 2001, Henry held senior positions with IBM Business Services, AIG Inc, American Express and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a BA, MBA and JD and is a certified US attorney. Henry has lived and worked in over 20 countries.

Mr Glenn Van Zutphen, Journalist
In 20 years as a professional journalist, Glenn van Zutphen has done nearly every job in print, radio and television news -- while living in the u.s., japan, Switzerland, hong kong and Singapore – where he currently works as a Journalist, Media Consultant, Media trainer and Conference Moderator/Facilitator.
Most recently as news editor for cnbc asia/pacific in Singapore, he oversaw the network’s daily, regional news coverage.
While at CNN International, producer/anchor/reporter van Zutphen helped to report stories like the nato-led bombing of Yugoslavia, millennium celebrations, and gulf war II and the war against terror.
Prior to cnni, van Zutphen was an anchor/reporter/producer for Hong Kong’s wharf cable television before, during and after the 1997 handover to china.
In Switzerland and Japan he worked for ABC news radio and USA today newspaper. While in Tokyo he was a television and radio broadcaster for public broadcaster, nhk.
Van Zutphen is a permanent resident of Singapore, where he lives with his wife, Kathleen and works as a Media Consultant, Media trainer and Conference Moderator/Facilitator.
He’s a member of the Singapore press club and the foreign correspondents association of Singapore.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, van Zutphen is a Singapore Permanent Resident.
He earned a bachelor of arts in journalism from the university of southern California.
