  • Developments in multimedia over IP using wireless LAN, bandwidth management, mobile devices and applications and what is possible now
  • Methods for calculating the ROI and TCO of the wireless infrastructure investment and VoIP in general
  • A case study to illustrate the process, issues, policies and guidelines behind one of the largest voice over WLAN deployments in South Africa

Sadiq Malik is Business Development Director at BCT Gobal , a system integrator that deploys secure switch based multipurpose wireless networks based on GPRS and 802.11 technologies. BCT Global specialises in the design and implementation of wireless networking, VOIP and mobile computing solutions that offer
unmatched ROI value to blue chip clients in the retail, financial and hospitality industries.

Sadiq Malik's has held senior management positions in business development and operations management in the Cellular and Pharmaceutical industries. He was marketing manager sub Saharan
Africa for Abbott Labs before joining Motorola University as Training Consultant. Later he moved on to Account Development and Strategic projects to accelerate the growth of the cellular device business.

Sadiq is visiting lecturer at UCT Business School for IT based Business Process Reengineering. He is an alumni of the Juran Institute USA and the University of San Diego. He is member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the American Society for Quality. He has presented at several Conferences for IIR, IQPC, IT Web and Sasol 20;20 Leadership Conference.
