About the organiser

The Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS) was established in 1979 with the help of the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB), part of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) when the industry recognised the need for an association to further its common interests.

The four business sectors represented in SACEOS are:

1. Professional Exhibition Organisers
2. Professional Conference Organisers
3. Meeting and Incentive Organisers
4. Suppliers of facilities and services for the exhibition, convention, meeting and incentive travel industries

SACEOS works closely with the SECB and International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) to promote the exhibition, convention, meeting and incentive travel industry in totality and further Singapore’s position as the International Exhibition and Convention City. Its objectives are:

a) To encourage and maintain high ethical standards of business conduct and professionalism among its members
b) To promote co-operation of the industry in all matters of mutual interest
c) To provide opportunities for the exchange of views and information
d) To represent the industry in all matters involving any government, ministry, association and media

Since its establishment, SACEOS is committed to high professional standards and ensures the steady growth of Singapore’s exhibition, convention, meeting and subsequently, incentive travel industry. It has been running training courses since 1990. These are well received by the industry and are attended by companies in the region such as Macau, Thailand and Indonesia. The courses are recognized and also supported by the SECB and IE Singapore.
