Mr Peter van Bommel,
Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer,

Peter van Bommel was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in April 2004, in addition to his responsibility as Chief Financial Officer of LG.Philips Displays.

Mr. van Bommel has worked as a finance professional in Philips for 23 years. Before his appointment as LG.Philips Displays’ CFO in October 2002, he was Senior Vice President and CFO, Consumer Businesses, Semiconductors Product Division of Philips Electronics. Prior to that position, he was CFO of Passive Components, Components Product Division of Philips Electronics.

Mr. van Bommel is experienced in mergers and acquisitions and was strongly involved in the successful divestment of activities that included more than 15 factories with 6,000 employees. He has global experience and served as Financial Controller in Hong Kong where he was strongly involved in establishing eight new joint ventures in China. In addition to his main responsibilities as a member of the Board of Directors, he was involved in the restructuring and refinancing of some of the established joint ventures. Prior to the above positions, he held various finance positions in Philips Machine Factories, Home Interactive Systems and was the Plant Controller of a factory of Philips in the Netherlands.

Mr. van Bommel, 47, holds an MBA from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. A Dutch citizen, he speaks Dutch, English and German.


Mr Steve Burdon,

Steve Burdon (BSc, MBA, FAIM, FAMI, FAICD, FIEA) is Visiting Professor of E-Business at the University of Technology, Sydney and Associate Professor of e-Commerce at Melbourne Business School. Professor Burdon’s extensive experience as a senior executive spans engineering, strategic, telecommunications and e-business management. Most recently, Professsor Burdon was Managing Director, Asia Pacific for British Telecom. Prior to this appointment his industry experience included CEO of OTC and Group Managing Director for Telstra.

Professor Burdon has a number of non-executive board positions in public and private companies, including Transfield Services Limited, VisAsia, and the President’s Council of the Art Gallery of NSW. In addition, Prof Burdon is an advisor to a number of Australia’s leading organisations including Alcatel, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, CPA Australia, Telstra, Sydney Airport Authority, and the National Office for the Information Economy (NOIE).

Richard Fennell is a Partner with IBM Business Consulting Services. He has over 15 years experience as a management consultant with IBM and previously PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has spent much of this time working in the area of process improvement and support function transformation with a particular focus upon the finance function. He is the Asia Pacific leader for Finance and Administration Solutions within IBM’s Business Transformation Outsourcing (BTO) business.

In this role he works with leading Asian and Global organizations to drive support function performance to the next level of effectiveness and efficiency using BTO as vehicle to deliver rapid changes in performance improvement. He has taken a central role in the development of the IBM Finance and Administration BTO solution strategy and delivery capability.

Mr. Lam is Chief Operating Officer – OI Asia of The Outsourcing Institute and is president and founder of both The OCB Network in Toronto, Canada and Intelligence Connections Ltd. in Hong Kong. His global consultancy helps organizations transform their business to meet the new operatives of harmonizing technology and humans.

Tom Reilly is one of the true pioneers of Business Process Outsourcing in China. He established the first “Offshore” financial processing center in South China in 1999. This multi-client center now provides real-time remote support to clients in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. Tom’s BPO work in China has been profiled in Business Week, Wall Street Journal, Outsourcing News, CFO Asia, and many industry white-papers and analyst reports.

Tom joined Ernst & Young in New York in 1994, where he focused on implementing financial shared service centers for clients in the United States and Canada. He moved to Hong Kong in 1998, while helping to form OneResource Group (“ORG”), Capgemini’s Business Process Outsourcing joint-venture with Dairy Farm International Holdings.

Tom Served as Chief Operating Officer of OneResource Group (“ORG”) from late 2000 until mid 2003. During Tom’s tenure, ORG expanded its Business Process Outsourcing services to new clients such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (2001), Torvald Klaveness Group (2002), Dairy Farm Singapore (2002), ABN AMRO (2002), Jardine Restaurant Group (2003), Peninsula Hotel Group (2003), IKEA (2003), and LG.Philips Displays (2004). With Tom as COO, ORG’s profit nearly tripled from 2000 levels.

Tom became the CEO of Capgemini Business Services (Asia) in July 2003, after leading the purchase of ORG by Capgemini. In August 2003, Tom took responsibility for leading Capgemini’s Business Process Outsourcing practice for Asia Pacific. Some clients that Tom has worked with include:

Kevin joined BT as vice president, Solutions, Propositions and Outsourcing in Asia Pacific in December 2003. Responsibilities include managing teams delivering BT’s products, services and solutions, including IP infrastructure, CRM, Conferencing and Outsourcing, throughout the region.

Kevin brings to BT in Asia Pacific a wealth of experience gained through years of building businesses, and as a consultant covering acquisitions and outsourcing.
Most recently, Kevin held the position of regional vice president and general manager Asia Pacific for Descartes Systems, a Canadian-based logistics company specialising in areas such as solutions for route planning and wireless dispatch. In that role, Kevin trebled the size of the company’s business in Asia in just over one and one-half years.

In the early years of his career, he worked with Data Sciences, CFM (part of ICL), and later with the Capita Group. In each of these roles, managing and securing large outsourcing projects was a major component of his responsibilities.

Kevin also spent six years with global solutions outsourcing company Headstrong (formerly known as James Martin) in a variety of roles, including president and COO International for Europe and Asia Pacific, as global head of sales, and as head of offshore development. During that period, Kevin was instrumental in growing the business from US$20 million to US$120 million.

Qing Yang is a ground-breaker in the world of Business Process Outsourcing. In 2002, he helped structure the largest outsourcing deal in the world. Today, he is leading the service implementation for one of the most ambitious finance and accounting outsourcing deals of all time.

Qing has more than 10 years experience in corporate finance, consulting and business process outsourcing (BPO). He has held positions at Ernst & Young Consulting (US), JP Morgan & Chase Co. (Hong Kong) and First National Bank of Chicago (US). His professional experience includes:

· Senior manager for a over 100 person finance and accounting outsourcing team in Guangzhou, China. This team provides a full range of finance and accounting support (payables, receivables, assets, reporting, budgeting, and general accounting) to clients in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Qing is responsible for managing the daily operation of the centre.

· Senior financial advisory manager for the setting up of Capgemini Toronto outsourcing centre delivering a US$1bn IT and business process outsourcing contract with a large Canadian power company. The centre provides a full range of finance and accounting support (payables, receivables, assets, reporting, budgeting, and general accounting) to this client and multiple other clients across North America. Qing has been involved in the full-cycle of these outsourcing arrangements.

· Financial advisor for several major US airlines in setting up their shared service centre.
